Le Placide is a gem! A beautiful, small hotel located in the St Germain section of the city. Wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby ... and a divine bakery down the street. Close to several subway stops, safe the staff is excellent! The staff helped with restaurant accommodations, directions ... you name it! I chose to have the breakfast included with my room ... and was not disappointed. The gentleman serving me was polite, and after the first day ... knew how I liked my eggs (made to order0 and made sure I had everything I needed. I cannot say enough good things about this great hotel. A wonderful experience all the way around!

What a find! We regularly travel to Paris and usually try to stay in St. Germain/6th arr. and have had some fairly mediocre hotel experiences. However, following our stay at Hotel Le Placide, we have now found our new favourite Paris hotel.
The rooms are quite large and spacious (so very comfortable), particularly for central Paris and the price. '
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The location is great, being on a relatively quiet street, just off rue de Sevres (and super close to Le Bon Marche).
We will be back soon.

We really enjoyed staying at Le Placide.
-Great location / neighborhood - didn't feel touristy and the street has all the things you want in Paris - a good cafe, boulangerie, fromagerie, etc..
-Extremely friendly and accommodating staff (especially Christopher, who was the first staff member we met and helped us with questions / reservations most frequently)
-Nice clean room - we stayed in the the double bed room on the back side of the courtyard.
We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

It's located just 30seconds from Bon marche where it's very good place to buy some souvenior and food or stuff.
Stuffs are always kind and helpful to us!
We were staying suite room and there was enough space to open two big suitcases.
But one morning day when we were taking shower, it turned to cold water suddnely. so I had to gave up it. Except this matter, very nice hotel.

I stayed in this hotel last July 8-11,2017. It was small on the outside but the rooms were big and had an equally roomy bathroom. Breakfast was included also -- there was bread, cheese, cold cuts, juice and coffee. All of the staff were accommodating and friendly. On our last day the rain was particularly strong so the elevator did not work and there was no hot water but despite that, I didn't mind so much because the manager and the whole staff were so nice and helpful. If you have problems going up the stairs though I suggest that you get a room on the first or second floor so that it will be easier for you, The hotel is also walking distance from Le Bon Marché and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal at Rue de Bac. The subway is also nearby so it's very convenient .
