Not bad for a short stopover

Selena4on 21/08/2016 19:32

Our room was a good family room, but this is more of a B and B than a hotel. We felt that we imposed on the owners space, when we were at the pool, even more so when told to be quiet with our children who were enjoying the pool and the sunshine. Breakfast was hearty with fresh bread and croissants daily. A great pizza place a short walk, The One offers yummy pizzas and wine or beer, if you don't fancy the trip into Valbonne.

Good and charming

The hotel is a very charming old Provence house. The bathroom was typically old Provence style with bidet. The only thing for which we don't give another star is the fact that the reception is not open on Saturday before 1700h (and supposedly you need to arrive preferable before 1800h). Besides of that nothing to say - good place , cozy, nice atmosphere and quiet.

Comfortable Logis excellent food friendly management

Just a few km outside Mouans-Sartoux in Plascassier, this Logis provides comfortable accommodation, has a swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. The patrons are a couple (with two boys) who work extremely hard covering most of the tasks of running the establishment. Good English is spoken if you wish not to use your French. Bedrooms are pleasant and typically French with more attention paid to public areas on the whole. We guess a little capital expenditure would be welcome to spruce up the odd rough edge but this did not detract from us spending 3 good nights here, dining in the restaurant on two of these. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. Reception closes in the afternoons so if you can, check in during the morning to have access to your room when ready in the early afternoon. Recommended for a Provence break.
