DexterCullenon 05/11/2016 23:17I'm not surprised this place has no really bad reviews. It was clean, modern, comfortable and perfect for our short trip to Rome.
It's a little hard to find if you are unsure of area so make sure you have good directions.
There is no breakfast in hotel, you get vouchers for a nearby restaurant which is ok.
The rooms are lovely, well decorated, clean and modern.
There is one negative and for me it is a big negative. I would not stay here again because of it. You text/email to say when you are arriving and someone will greet you. However any other time, except for checkout, there is nobody at reception. This is highly inconvenient. I know it's a very small hotel, I appreciate that but it's just not good enough in my opinion. You can phone if there is a problem but that's not as convenient as walking up to reception. We did have an issue while there and had to sort it ourselves.
Also out flight was delayed so when we landed I text to say we were running late and wouldn't arrive at the time given, this was fine. Anyway when we left airport I had no WiFi until hotel, we went straight there but when I turned my WiFi back on I had messages asking where I was...I had already texted to say we were running late and we went straight there...I felt this was inappropriate. If someone was at reception all the time it wouldn't be necessary for the panic.
Anyway lovely hotel but nobody at reception most of the time ruined it for us.

JDSBon 26/09/2016 17:41It was good to stay in this unusual building - not immediately obvious as a hotel from the outside, but once through the vast wooden door and up to the first floor (stairs or lift available) and into the apartment in which the accommodation is situated, it was home from home.
Only a few rooms and a modest entry-way including breakfast area, maps and guides, reception and kitchen - so it felt cosy and homely.
We received a friendly email a few days before the booking to ask what time we would arrive so that someone could be ready to greet us. We received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble including suggesting where we might go for lunch and showing us maps and giving us tips about transport. The SIT shuttle bus stop is at the end of the road - about 50 mins travel time to airport and Euro5/6 each way. Everything was perfect with nicely furnished rooms - modestly sized rooms but bigger than 'swing a cat', nice high ceilings, good condition carpets, high quality tiled bathroom with walk-in shower, quiet overlooking courtyard at the back.
It was the little touches that made it 'home from home' - kettle in the room with tea/coffee, a couple of quirky features in the the room, collection of books/magazines to read, free wi-fi, owner's local knowledge.
Perfect stay in Prati
natzapon 26/09/2016 01:24We had a fabulous stay at Le Stanze Di Orazio. The room was very clean. We loved how close we were to the Vatican and great shopping. Lots of delicious restaurants nearby. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us a map of Rome when we checked in. It was really helpful as she marked where the hotel was and the best routes for walking to sites. I would definitely return!
Trip to Rome
Hannah Bon 31/08/2016 19:27We had read previous reviews of other visitors and so had high expectations, we weren't disappointed. The room was clean and functional in the heart of Rome offering excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend it.
The host was available for late check in, she gave us a map of the city and pointed out all of the sights. It was a wonderful break and we will return soon.

Di_Ferroon 07/08/2016 21:47The place looks brand new with a big room and bathroom! TV and aircon works fine! Internet is a bit boring because you have 1 per per person and you need to connect again every time with a bizarre pwd. I would definitely change it!
The only downside is that the owner lacks a bit in English, making your stay a bit cold sort to say... She Angela (I think she is Angela) is very very helpful and tried hard to communicate with us! She was very helpful arranging us a cot for our baby and even recommending another place as we decided to stay longer!
There is also a breakfast with Nutella!!! Nice!!!
