Quirky, friendly hotel
Peter Eon 03/02/2017 12:49We stayed for a night travelling back from the south to Caen. Friendly staff, trying very hard on their English. Good food. Made a special effort for my wife who is vegetarian, after ordering the vegetable soup they pointed out it had some pork in it and adapted another dish to ensure it was completely meat free. Quirky schoolhouse theme based on the former use for the building, including children (dummies) at desk in dining room.
Charming family run hotel offering excellent, good value cuisine
LuzechSpuron 09/01/2017 23:17Standing in the heart of this lovely riverside village the hotel offers good value basic accommodation. We enjoyed an excellent evening meal which in itself has given us a good reason to return. There is free on-site car parking.
A very pleasant overnight stay
gillH2184EWon 14/09/2016 13:41We stayed here en route to the coast and had a pleasant stay. The members of staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was basic but comfortable - not well soundproofed but it was quiet. With hindsight we should have booked a room with air-con as it was very hot during our stay.
Our only criticism was the size of the breakfast area - everyone was very close together and we felt a bit cramped. Breakfast was good but not very relaxing.
Dinner was good and served with a smile.

Clean and pleasant rooms ,good staff and a very pleasant owner who takes time and trouble to make sure you enjoy the stay.it used to be a shool but has been made over

Especially the langoustine ravioli with seafood sauce to die for, and the fabulous , rare local Jasnieres, chenin wine ....DEFINITELY Worth a detour , just off the A28, le Mans to Tours AutoRoute , just right for an overnight stop on way South!
