Ny expectations for this hotel was low because of the fact that it is only a 3 star hotel. Pro: room small but ok, pool area nice. The location a 10 minutes walk to
The city. And a nice view to the sea. Cons: I was surprised that there was not any soap available in the shower. As I have never experienced no soap in a hotel, I went to the reception and asked about it. The answer was please buy it yourself. Next small problem was the blanket, it had some stains. I got a new. Third problem is a "toilet" smell from the bathroom. All in all I would give two and a half stars for this hotel. As I cannot give half stars, I decided to give three.

The hotel is 200 mt far from the center and the port. It is sited out of the chaos of Pigadia. The level seems to be higher than the 2 stars. Cleaned rooms, cleaned common spaces, bathroom maybe not at the level of the hotel that offers good services such as a beautiful swimming pool in the middle of the structure with typical trees and garden, free jacuzzi, well furnished snack bar. Wi fi free. The break fast is not satisfying, but all the hotel of the same range in Greece have the same lack. Here beside the classic euro breakfast you find Greek sweets, yogurt and bread. Sabina will welcome you with discreet kindness and will be pleased to give you any kind of suggestion for your trips around the island. (She offered us a drink for my girl friend's BDay)

We've just came back from our one week holiday. As one of the other reviewers wrote, the hotel has not much personality. First we were put to studio 04 which had an extremely strong mould smell. There is no ventilation and only a tiny window can be opened which has mosquito net as well but of course because it is on the ground floor you cannot leave the door open or even the thick curtain because the passers-by could look inside. So first night we couldn't sleep at all. Also the bathroom is horrible, small bath full of rust, you cannot even turn in it, awful.
Next day we complained to our tourist guide and after she had a long conversation with the reception they gave us room 10 on the ground floor (reception level) which was very nice. The studios are on the lower level. Modern bathroom, except that the shower was corroded, and the room have ugly colours but it is a matter of taste of course.
The other studio (03) had even worst condition, mould plus sewage smell with a huge ugly bug behind the sink, and our friends also asked for another room and got studio 08 which is bigger and much nicer.
So, don't accept either of the mentioned studios and you will be fine.
The swimming pool is nice, clean, big but the water very cold, not many guest were swimming. There is a bar with a very friendly lady who makes good food, pasta bolognese 7,50euro.
The lady at the reception was like a headmaster in a school and was very irritated when we and our friends asked for the change of the rooms. Neither she or the young man at the bar had a genuine smile.
The location is nice, great view on the see, no flies or mosquitos, the walk back from the beach and super market little bit steep but not long, take the first alley one on your left when you come out of the hotel (with the dead end sign) it is a quiet romantic little street, if you take the next one, is full of cars and no pavement, really dangerous and the road is slippery.

This is a traditional, family owned, hotel, just a little way out of the main town. They are very hospitable and anxious to meet your needs. Beautiful pool area with snack bar and very good breakfast.

Halfway between a small scale palace and a good old Greek family hotel.
Everything is very clean, the paintings everywhere are fresh and in good taste.
The swimming pool is very agreable : quite big and not too many people around (in september).
Well located, up the hill (airy and no mosquitoes), about10 minutes walk from the center. Yet climbing back the street was too much for my wife, she had to take a taxi each time (6€). Walking back should not be a problem for young, non smoking folks (even after a bottle of Retsina or two).
Don't forget to do your shopping at the supermarket in town, the prices in the hotel are prohibitive : 4€ for a beer at the bar, 2€ for a large bottle of water.
I paid 55€ for a room with seaview in september 2014, fair price for what it is, no problem.
Yet if one day Tripadvisor awards a prize for the best breakfast in town, the Seven Stars will certainly be last !
