suzi50179on 24/08/2017 09:57I went for one night, stayed in the castles and wished that I have extended that for more than that. Environment is extremely relaxing and nice for kids to play in the park and outside the park.
There s a small zip liner for them and small lake if they like to swim.
Many restaurants are available.
Castles are air conditioned and rooms are big and nicely equipped.
No telephone to call the reception in the rooms and I prefer if they change the bunk bed settings as kids refuse to sleep on the top one or the ;lower one , then you end up with unused beds.
Architecture is really nice and kids loved it.
Fun stay for the kids
Greetjepeeon 18/08/2017 11:14Our son was very happy in Legoland. The park is fun and 2 days are easily filled with fun. It is more a park for kids up to 12 years. After that they get borred by the attractions for the smaller kids. Our daughter is 14 and she is getting to old for some of the attractions. But overall a fun stay in the park. The cottages for overnight stay are basic but clean. I expected more of the cottages. The english at the reception is very basic. The restaurants were ok. Not top but sufficient since the stay was all for the kids. We had dinner in the Castle and there you have to have a lot of time to wait. But the food was nice and good. Staff was friendly although their english was again very basic. The breakfast we had in the restaurant between the cottages. That was buffet style. Lot's of choice. The kids loved it. Overall an ok stay, although it would have been nicer for the parents to have a bit more luxury than needed for the kids. That would have made the stay a bit more fun for everybody of the family.

ElioWolffon 16/08/2017 12:02We are a couple with 2 children (10 months & 7 yrs old) and stayed at the main castle hotel.
We had high expectations with the legoland hotel as we had stayed before in legoland in California, however there was no comparison between both, the legoland in Gunzburg was frustrating.
In summary: no room service available, no phone in the room, wrong information provide several times, very poor or none customer service at all.
At the check-in wew were not provided with all the explanations, we are not given the right information. We noticed after getting to the room that they had forgotten to bring the crib to our baby, despite the fact that we paid for it (EUR 10 by the way). More surprinsingly is that there is no phone in the room and we had to go back to the reception (5-10 min walk) to complain. At the reception again, they now informed us that there is a phone at the ground floor of the building to ask for services but there is no room service at all - again negatively surprisingly for the price you pay, and they are sorry that the crib was not there. After that, we were informed at the reception that any restaurant in the whole complex would heat the food for our baby at any time. In the following day, we go the restaurant in the building (castle) and kindly ask them to heat the food, the restaurant refuses and also says it is forbidden in Germany for restaurant to heat external food (???). My wife was alone with the baby as I was still in the park with our other daughter, and she had to heat the food in the room with hot water, amazingly misleading infromation on all fronts. When I arrived, I went down to complain to the restaurant, they say sorry, sorry, then I call the manager in charge, he says sorry, sorry.... I went to ask some additional information at the complex, they often have difficulties to speak/understand english, also said sorry, sorry. After all complaints I have made, there was no one from the hotel to even come to us back to see if things were all right, everytime I would complain to someone else who did not know the issues we had before, very poor customer service. I am certainly not going back, and would not recommend for people to pay this amount of money to stay in this hotel. The nice thing was the park which the kids enjoyed quite a lot.
Fun Stay
Simon Gon 14/08/2017 09:34We stayed in one of the themed cottages in the Legoland Holiday Village. The Cottages are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and has a great variety from what to choose both for the kids and adults.
The Holiday Village has fun spelled in itself. There are a large number of playgrounds, a lake with a sandy area where kids can play and adults could relax. There is even some adventure activities such as zip lining and rock climbing as well as mini golf and other activities.
There are 3 restaurants in the Holiday Village which are great to go to after a day at the Legoland Park.
The Park itself is just a few minutes walk from the Village. There is a back entrance to the Park for Guests staying in the Village.
All the staff members we met, be it at reception, at breakfast or even in the restaurants were all extremely helpful and friendly.
Definitely a fun place to stay and highly recommended!!
