We loved staying here and will make it our regular accommodation when we come back to Tassie. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The bed was comfortable and the whole experience was great. We loved all the onsite activities.

We often stay at the Penny Royal when in Launceston. The location is great when heading into yown for an evening out. The rooms are clean and well presented. The kings restaurant and other dinning/ bar facilities at the complex are very good and are part of the reason we keep coming back...have already locked in out next visit!!

I decided to stay here for 2 nights as it's been over 30 years since my last visit,
the unit looked tired but that's not why I'm complaining. When I got back from a day's outing, I found the unit wasn't cleaned, the used cup was still on the sink, floor hadn't been vaccumed, towel's wern't replaced, bed was poorly made up. I can accept all the above but not the wet towel's. I had used the towel and bath mat to dry the floor as there was water on the floor due to poor shower curtain and I didn't want to slip on wet tiles. I left the wet towel's on the floor thinking that they would be replaced, when I got back the cleaner hung them back up for me to use again. There's no way that I'm going to use wet dirty towel's, how unhygienic.

We walked in to reception with no expectations and the hope that there would be a room available. Our 3 nights at the Leisure Inn Penny Royal were very good. Wonderful view of the park and we liked being able to walk next door to the Brady Inn. The stairs to the room above went up the side of our apartment and you can hear the people walking around. On our stay it wasn't too noisy or late but the potential is there. All the staff we dealt with were great.

gorge a must see, great food, its all at your fingertips, staff were very helpful. needed more time there to explore the beautiful area, and wow the peacocks at the gorge!!!
