Nice small lodge, in a beautiful region , nice rooms, good breakfast,best coffee I had in all our lodges ! Nice pool, crazy town this Kirkwood, all in all , good to start to Edo Elephant Park , Good Service In the lodge.

We did not enjoy our stay at this lodge. Upon our arrival, the owner walked past us and rather helped unloading a delivery vehicle than welcoming us. He told us that he will be with us later. The shower was dirty and clogged up and never reached a consistent temperature. The clogged up shower resulted in one standing in a pool of water whilst trying to adjust the shower taps (without success). The plug of the basin did not work and therefore I could not shave. The one light was very dim and there were no large mirrors, making it difficult for us to prepare for a wedding we had the one evening. The breakfast is very basic compared to other lodges with lower ratings. The room was cleaned once, one late afternoon, and when we returned from the wedding there were no towels in our room (at 01:00 at night). Also, the entrance gate was locked and our remote did not work. The open bathroom (with the toilet almost next to the bed and no door) did not work well for privacy and the thin walls even less so. We will not be back, unfortunately, and urge future visitors to critically question the current high rating this place has.

Very nice big room. There was a swimmingpool also.The owner was great with a lot of interesting stories. He cooked us a very tasty meal. The guesthouse was nearby Addo elephantpark and a cheetahfarm. The neigbourhood had a lot of citruspantages.

We visited the lemon3lodge with our 4 year old daughter and had a very nice stay.
Everything was well arranged in a nice atmosphere.
The owner is very helpful in any way. Good tips/routes/suggestions and a good cook!
We enjoy the meals and the sky view.
Therefore really recommended.

Our first safari experience. What a great accomodation and warm welcome! Meeting the locals. Experience Addo Elephant Park and Schotia Safaris Private Game Reserve. You won't miss this experience.
De kamers zijn gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien en er is een overheerlijk ontbijt. In de tuin kun je genieten van de ligbedden en het zwembad. Echt een fantastische logde! Thanks for the great advice.
