The buffet dinner was excellent. The free games were great fun - even for us old folks.:-) The staff were very enthusiastic and even the General Manager was good fun (Richard). The room was quiet.
Breakfast (for Westerners) was not very good. There were no eggs most mornings and the bacon was cold. No yogurt and no orange juice and only water melon for fruit. The coffee was undrinkable. The room was a bit small and the air conditioning took a full day to bring the room temperature down to a reasonable level. The common areas were hot and the lifts were stuffy. The pool was closed so we couldn't swim and the beach is covered in rubbish and plastic. The beach sand is a dirty brown colour and the beach water is dirty. The hotel needs a refit or some decent maintenance as does the area around the hotel. The WiFi was slow at 4.5 Mb/s but was mostly reliable.

The hotel is not in the downtown and takes ~20mins to Kenting street。there is a beach near hotel and you could enjoy the quiet moment with great sea view just in your room。the rooms are just remodeled which makes you very comfortable. Some places like pool is still under construction. I am expecting the next visit when all the facilities are ready.

Nothing is nearby to this hotel, but I didn't care since we were driving, certainly not recommended for tourists with no car. It is a old hotel (i was under the impression the rooms were already renovated... Wrong!) and everything was just okay, soso staff, big room for 4 but not as clean as I would like , playground for small kids, a restaurant, which was fine, and a kid's pool locate near the adult spa pool, which I consider good coz easier to take care of kids while enjoying the spa. I booked the hotel at a discount price for the family trip and well, not what I expected but pass... But if for original price i think there's better choices out there.

I stayed this hotel via the cycling tour of Taiwan.
Bouti X Hotel is quite far from Kenting, you have to pay 200 dollars for shuttle bus one way, it should not be called as Kenting.
The view of this hotel is amazing, the green mountains were combined with the blue sea and harbour, but that's pity we can't see anything at night, there was almost no light in the harbour area.
The main entrance of hotel has little problem, the auto door is so slow to detect the visitors. Dinner was average, but they didn't offer cold drinks, hot tea only.
