3 points for location and balcony
EnnoFL89on 29/07/2017 22:14I've stayed here for an entire week. Rooms are clean, big enough and I even had a balcony which was kinda nice to stand on and watch what's going on on the streets during a warm summer night.
The staff including one lady at the reception were extremely friendly. That happy "good morning" each morning was wonderful. Breakfast is good and has some good options.
Would stay here again.
Very noisy-construction site on level 5
Melissa Gon 21/07/2017 08:48We stayed the night before a long hall flight. We were very disappointed that we were not able to rest past 8 am due to the very noisy drilling above us. There is a construction site on level 5 and the drilling is still very loud on level 1!
Not recommended if you wish to rest in the room between 8 am - 5 pm. Not recommended for weary travellers.
Good transit stop
su hon 11/07/2017 10:58Just across from railway station is never the flashest area of town but very convenient , interesting and lots of good places to eat nearby. We had just arrived from New Zealand into a heat wave. Staff were great. Room was quiet and comfotrable.
Overall, good value for a hassle free transit stop.
Good for one night
1SunLovingCoupleon 10/07/2017 18:48We stayed here because it was a good price and we've stayed at a Leonardo in Munich that was glorious. This one was not quite the same, bit of a rougher neighbourhood and definitely more dated.
The good parts: - the location is great, right across from the Hauptbahnhof (from our room, we could see it all lit up at night, very nice!). The room was dated but clean (except the shower which gave the impression we'd be dirtier after using it). The bed was sufficiently comfortable. The windows actually blocked a lot of street noise so it was much quieter than we anticipated.
The not-so-good: The neighbourhood seemed a bit ... sketchy, lots of homeless people asking for money outside (part of the downside of being so close to the train station, I guess) and people yelling outside until late in the night.
It was fine for one night but glad it wasn't longer than that, it just didn't have a nice feel to it and we didn't feel very safe.
