Long wait for food
winset1on 31/07/2017 15:34This hotel only has one person on in an evening dealing with the bar (which isn't in the restaurant) and the restaurant, so you wait a long time for your food. The hotel was used as a stop over in Belgium by our Coach Tour at the start and end of our holiday, so we stayed in two different rooms. There is a railway track which runs along side the hotel which heavy freight runs along all night, so you are unable to have the window open, also the drains from the bath, shower and toilet really smell in the rooms. Staff were pleasant.
A quite gem ....
Nibedita Con 15/07/2017 20:30After our pathetic experience with IBIS Paris and tired of our whole day journey we reached this place with very little expectation. But vola ....this nice boutique resort was too good and welcoming. Room was quite big with three big bed. Toilets were clean and modern. Sorrounded by pool and green garden, this hotel wiped off our tiredness. Wavre place was itself like a picture postcard. Enjoyed staying here.
Will never pay to stay here
Carrie Ton 21/06/2017 18:50Where do I start with the problems? At 105euros per night for a hotel far away from the city center of Brussels, this was way overpriced.
Issues faced:
1) Elevator broken. It's okay, I get it. You have just 1 Elevator in your hotel, and there aren't that many floors, I can climb. But what I could not understand is how the guy who checked me in could have the cheek to look at me and say 'oh you have a luggage, then you have to carry it up'. No customer service mindset whatsoever.
2) Rooms - dated, dirty, uncomfortable beds, old. The windows had dust bunnies all around it, the carpet and toilet stains were shocking. The only plus point? The heating and power pressure of the shower.
3) Bar - a very unwilling bartender who shrugs at you like providing any form of service has nothing to do with him. The bar in the hotel closes at 11pm but before that you will already have the bartender warning you this is the last round he's going to serve you.
4) Facilities - there is a very filthy outdoor pool, other than that you won't find a gym or other facilities available.
Take your business elsewhere. Try the Ibis at Warve next time.
Good for a night stay
Koen Von 01/06/2017 20:42Quiet hotel not too far from the business park of Louvain-la-Neuve. Friendly staff willing to do an extra effort. The room is not very modern but decent and clean. The only minus is the small toilet space.

Sumptuous breakfast. Rooms equipped with two king size beds and essential furniture. Minibar existing but empty and locked. Very poor courtesy items. Average- to-high prices, variable along the week.
