Paul Con 12/08/2017 17:22This was a terrific small hotel, in a wonderful location in a beautiful village. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent.
The rooms were well furnished and the terrace was particularly pleasant, with great views over the surrounding countryside.
Slightly faded
Lloubon 23/07/2017 21:40We stayed here about 15 years ago and had great memories of the homely country hotel with fantastic outdoor restaurant setting. The setting remains and it is still quite a pleasant hotel restaurant in a lovely old town but that's about it. Standards have slipped.
Beautiful views, charming hotel and excellent kitchen
Vianney Son 20/12/2016 15:38Hotel Restaurant Les Geraniums is located at a wonderful place, the views are beautiful. The rooms are modest, but nice. The kitchen is really excellent. I had pigeon, which you cannot get in many places. So the combination of site and kitchen and the romantic hotel are wonderful. A place to come back.
35 year class reunion
Sarah Don 17/09/2016 00:39Our class had been invited to Provence to celebrate our 35 year reunion since graduating from Business School in 1981. One of our group and his wife own a fabulous vineyard in Suzette close by. Several of us booked into Les Geraniums, which is central enough to many of the most prominent vineyards of Cote du Rhone. La Barroux is an historic settlement built from indigenous local stone and visible from the surrounding plains.
The area is replete with dozens of vineyards and tasting rooms, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Beaumes-de-Venise are within a few miles.
If you are interested in the Impressionist painters, then Cezanne painted Mont St Victoire from nearby Aix en Provence; If you are a cyclist then strap on your lycra and find your way up Mont Ventoux, home of the Tour de France, a Mecca for cyclists.
Do drive along the Route du Vins from Bolene to Carpentras and drink in the views.
Hiking in Provence
Lori Bon 11/09/2016 22:35I stayed here as part of a small tour group that was hiking through Provence and visiting wineries. The staff was so accommodating to our loud American group! The proprietor and the waiter in the restaurant were so very nice and our dinner was fantastic! Please don't go and expect this to be like a hotel in the States - enjoy the quirkiness and charm of this beautiful old hotel and the small town of Le Barroux.
