Visit D- Day Beaches
Relee54on 29/07/2016 12:34Mediocre facility, not as nice as pics show. Really these are low brow and cheaply constructed apartments, not a hotel. Don't expect any service like daily towel service or room makeup. Pool and office close early. Adjacent to noisy campers. No screens on windows. Complex can be very noisy. Bare bone dished and kitchen utilities. They don't even supply any paper towels or dish soap. For what we paid we could have stayed in a nice B&B.
3 days in Normandy
VMcK80on 26/07/2016 07:24We needed a good base point to explore the WW2 Beaches of Normandy. This hotel was exactly that. We had a one bedroom apartment complete with a pull out couch and extra twin bed. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids ages 7 and 9 and it was more than perfect for us. Note, the hotel site says that they don't provide towels...this is meant for pool towels. Towels for showering were provided. Only complaint I have is that it was a really hot day (104F) and there were no fans in the room. Having said that, we didn't ask for one either, so they may have been available. I don't know for sure.

Blow1ton 04/08/2015 15:55We are staying at these apartments as I write and I'm using the free wifi to connect to do so. The apartment is spacious, quiet, well equipped and comfortable. We knew in advance that bed linen and towels had to be rented so we simply brought our own, no problem. The apartments are self catering so we also brought t towels, washing up liquid, loo rolls, soap etc etc but there is an 8am-8pm Carrefour supermarket less than five minutes walk away that has all you need. A small kitchenette lets you cook simple meals but there are many lovely restaurants within five minutes walk. The pool is lovely and the free wifi works well around the side of it. You have to pay extra if you want wifi in your apartment. Grand Camp Maisy is a charming fishing port and all the Normandy landing beaches are just a few miles away. Bayeux is about 30 mins away and is lovely.
I'd recommend this place but make sure you know it is a self catering apartment block not a hotel. Oh, and the staff we've met have been lovely.

cath bon 05/10/2014 20:38We stayed here for 10 days in September 2014. The apartment was spacious and clean but rather basic. I would recommend visitors to take all their own linen. However the reception staff were very helpful and the location was ideal for visiting all the D-Day beaches and museums.

Staff excellent, friendly and caring. My daughter had an accident in the apartment and banged her head. Staff could not have handled it better. Thank you.
