Vincent don 21/04/2016 09:34This little hotel could have potential but when walking in you immediately feel and see that it is not taken care of.
A shame really because its location and setting is amazing.
Rooms are very basic and not extremely clean. For this reason, I didn't think it was worth the price.
The wifi is good. Breakfast is the worst I have had during my stay in France this week. Limited variety and old bread.
Too bad, this place could really be something.

JoCoSion 15/09/2015 12:21This was the second time which we have stayed at Les Magnanarelles as our friends have a house in the area. The hotel is relatively small but the staff are friendly and it has a homely feel as a result. The rooms are spacious, as are the showers but the stairs are steep and windy so it is not great for those with limited mobility. The main issue with the hotel is that there is no air-conditioning and we were there during a heat wave which made sleeping uncomfortable. It is also right on the road which, whilst not busy (it being a small village), makes having the windows open noisy. Only some rooms have fly screens on the windows too and these really are necessary in this area. There are rooms in the outbuilding by the pool and those are probably the best option.
The pool is lovely and refreshing and quite a treat for such a small hotel. It has a good number of sun-loungers and other lounge furniture on the terrace too for alfresco drinks. Breakfast can also be taken outdoors and a great selection of food was on offer (pastries, cold meats, pancakes, bread, cheese, fruit etc). We also dined here one evening and the food was really good with traditional French flavours.
I love this hotel and hope to return, I would also recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area. Mausanne itself is a lovely little village with a good selection of shops and restaurants and a typical local square where the locals gather in the evenings. It has changed a lot since we were last there and feels a lot more upmarket now, meaning that it is slightly more expensive but still affordable for Provence.
Pretty, Quiet & Clean Country Hotel
Sandy Fon 09/09/2015 21:07After getting over our shock that there is no air conditioning in our room (it was close to 90 degrees in the day), we discovered that at night the temperature drops dramatically, and it is very pleasant in the room. We slept with windows open every night - 5 nights - no problems with bugs - in a room that looks out over the back courtyard and swimming pool. Very quiet in hotel, and very clean. The room was spare, with its own bath and shower, perfectly adequate for us. WIFI connection was good. Had to climb 2 sets of stairs to get to room, no elevator provided. Good basic food in restaurant, friendly staff. Large pool which was nice to swim in. I recommend this place as long as you don't require A/C! Functional and good value.
Average 2 star room with a 3 star restaurant
CoreySueon 06/11/2014 19:40The hotel is not as nice as the website photo would seem. It is in need of a little TLC. The room, though small, was adequate and very clean.
There is only on-street parking, most of which is not nearby. If you have mobility issues, this could be a problem.
The website lists WIFI as an amenity when, in fact, there is no WIFI connection and the public hotspot in town has a weak connection at best.
On the positive side, the restaurant is excellent.

The restaurant was nice with a choice of 3 set meals or a la carte. As ever, the mark up on the wine was noticeable but the choice of French wines excellent.
Each course was beautifully presented and very tasty indeed. We enjoyed it and would happily eat there again.
The staff spoke French but could break into English if needed and were friendly and helpful.
Just one small word of warning - if you eat outside by the pool (which is lovely) beware the mosquitoes and cover up well!
