If you do like to be beside the sesaside...........
Kaydeeemon 19/09/2016 16:17This Hotel is superbly located facing Ile de Groix. We stayed for three nights and found it to be ideal for relaxing in a peaceful setting. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bedroom was modern and comfortable, but for a three night stay the wardrobe hanging space was very limited.
Dinners in the dining room overlooking the sea were a pleasant experience, the meals were delicious and very well presented , with fish and shellfish featuring most prominently on the menu. Breakfast was substantial and taken in the dining room or on the terrace was a treat. Not a cheap hotel, but not unreasonably expensive, with the bonus of being away from noise and crowds.
Far too expensive
Joanne Non 10/09/2016 18:31Except for the good position on the seafront and the politeness of the receptionist, nothing good to say about this property. Small, dirty room, just above the outside smoking area of the cooks so an early night with the window open is impossible. Supplement for a very basic breakfast. I order only a croissant & asked my husband just to get me a bit of jam to go with it because it looked pretty dry : not allowed!! Far too expensive given the quality of the hotel.
A cozy little hotel seemingly aimed primarily at locals.
bewmmon 06/07/2016 07:50We stayed two nights at Les Mouettes while in town for a friend's wedding - it's a nice little hotel with good accommodations. Small menu in the restaurant, but the food was very good - we enjoyed eating there. They even had a nice Belgian beer on tap (Leffe) in their small bar. Overall a nice experience.
Great location and good price
Petrus61on 26/05/2016 08:14I stayed one night in this hotel located on the beach and a few miles away from Lorient. The staff was friendly and the room comfortable. We had the formula including dinner and the room for 119 € which is reasonable. Having breakfast on the terrace facing the sea was a real pleasure ! I can recommend this hotel.
Quick visit, pleasant surprise
WornOutAndWantSleepon 05/09/2015 17:29Fantastic beachside location, would have been a lovely spot for a couple of nights' as a relaxed getaway. Great views from the restaurant/bar area. The staff were welcoming and spoke excellent English (making up for my utterly terrible French). Room was basic (drinks making facilities would have been nice but are less common in France I find) but were modern, very clean and comfortable. Lovely big shower was a bonus. Electric shutters on the outside ensured the room could be kept very dark aiding a good night's sleep. All in, a little gem of hotel.
