Dump would be kind

Avoid this place at all costs. A converted old hotel, scary stair case to get to condo, converted hallway that is dark and smells, view of the street, blinds missing slats, less than 5 min of hot water, most electrical outlets non working, room smells like a wet dog. Disappointed with trading places, this is the worst trade I have ever made in all my years of travel.

It's a place to stay

Stayed here for a week with friends on a snowboarding trip. Says it would sleep six, but the sofa bed was so uncomfortable that some slept on the floor. Beds themselves were OK. Not great. Furniture was OK, carpet seems a little old. Most of it was clean. There is no daily house keeping and you have to ask for clean towels. For a place that sleeps six the kitchen only offered 5 plates, bowls, glasses, etc. So, somone always ate cereal out of cup, or steak out of a bowl. Parking is almost nonexistance and it costs $20 a night. And with 2 cars it could get expensive quickly. Hot tub was out of service and sauna took hours to warm up, so plan ahead. Pool was heated, but outside so it was still cold. Not a ski-in ski-out. It's a walk to lifts, but not too far. Its closer than some places. Overall, I'd stay again, but only if it was cheaper than everyother place in town.

misrepresented

this is NOT ski in or ski out . . . it is about 100 yards from Payday express and is not well managed or maintained. The room was acceptable but not a value. The pool was dirty and cold and there is no hot tub (they say under construction and it appears to have been that way for some time).

Its loud at night and lots of stairs. No ski lockers so for families it'll be tough hauling all your gear (I would valet my stuff at the base but $7 per night per set).

Construction materials were laying around, there wa no housekeeping other than Tuesday and they don't make beds or clean the bathroom.

Not the Lodge you are for!

Winter travelers if you are looking for a relaxing soak in the hot tub at the end of an active winter day do not stay here! I had no warning that the hot tub was currently being remodeled and will not be finished until approximately April 2017. Their sauna never got hot and yet I was charged a resort fee of $9 a day for my one bedroom! When I talk to management they would only refund me three days.

Only stay if you get a screaming deal

This place is certainly rough around the edges and such a shame because it has all the bones to be a great hotel.

The positive is that's it's a great location. But that is about it.

The furnishing, pool, facilities and bedding are all something you might see at a motel 8.

Paper thin blankets and towels. You have to check out pool towels at the front desk and they charge you if you don't bring them all back.

You have to pay a $17 a day resort fee and I tried to argue this since the hot tub was still broken (since October ) and the sauna was not working either. We also had no wifi which is part of the resort fee. The man at the front desk would not relent and was almost argumentative with me.

They say parking is included in the resort fee but it is basically a parking pass for street parking. Hope you enjoy digging your car out if it snows.

And they charge you $25 a day extra for additional cars.

The furnishings were college dorm quality and we had a pleather couch that had all kinds of scratches and was falling apart.

Also be aware that the advertised mid week cleaning is only garbage removal and new towels.

If you get a fantastic deal than I might consider staying here. But If you can afford more than I would definitely pass. There are so many fabulous places to stay in Park City.

I discovered that most the people who stay here own timeshares and pay a yearly maintenance of $600. That made a lot of sense why the hotel seemed so rundown.
