Quiet Retreat
Carrie Hon 09/06/2017 16:40My husband set up our stay at Lily Creek Lodge for my birthday and last mini vacation before our baby arrives. We thoroughly enjoyed the character and quiet solitude the B&B has to offer. The owner, Sharon was extremely accommodating and made sure I had plenty of food to eat for breakfast since I am a picky eater with food allergies. Our room was the Secret Garden and at the end of the hall made for a private escape. We enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels, Biscuit the cat and few deer we saw in the woods. If you are looking to escape into a quiet retreat then Lily Creek is your place. If you are looking for lots of amenities or a resort then this may not be your place. Thank you Sharon for helping us make our baby moon and my 32nd birthday memorable!
Left after arrival
CyndiLynnBon 08/05/2017 03:58Not what we expected after arrival. The website led us to believe there was a pool available and outdoor hot tub. The pool was not open and the building facilities were not well maintained. The decor is weird/ odd and well dated. It was uncomfortable. Looks cute from front and in the main room... but look closer amd you can see the decline. We asked for a refund and left.
Late review
Jade Won 16/03/2017 17:32I stayed here in March of 2015 in the Antarctica room. While the shower was small, I loved my time here. The staff were incredibly sweet and the breakfast was wonderful. I will be returning this year, and hopefully more in the future. (I realize I am late in posting my review, but they deserve recognition for their good work, however late it may be.)

rgs0827on 02/03/2017 18:21Beautiful place. Great staff very friendly and helpful. wonderful breakfast home cooked by the chef/ owner. We will be back in the fall to see the leaves change. Nice room with a beautiful view..enjoyed every minute of our stay
In need of a complete renovation!
Terry Oon 22/02/2017 23:21I don't like to be negative when the staff are so friendly and try hard to be helpful. However, with taxes we paid $188.00, which was way too much! It was a tiny room with what was supposed to be a queen-sized bed, but wasn't. The sink for the bathroom was inside our bedroom and the tiny shower and toilet were in what was once a very tiny closet!! The bed also sagged into the middle and squeaked every time we moved! The furniture in general, was in very poor condition.
The room was clean, but the towels were old and threadbare. The "white" hand towel and washcloth had turned gray from so much use. The TV was an old TV/VCR from the 1980's and didn't work properly.
This was honestly the worst breakfast I've ever had at a B&B! She tried, but it was just terrible. The entire breakfast was cold. They served an under cooked hashbrown casserole with raw onions in it, cold cheese biscuits and Morning Glory muffins and a cold spinach casserole. There was also fruit salad which was okay. They did not serve any meat of any kind. The orange juice also tasted watered down.
This was supposed to be a weekend getaway, but it was so very disappointing...we won't be back.
