First time to rome
Will Jon 06/06/2017 02:02This was my first trip to Rome and was an extremely enjoyable one at that
The b&b is situated on the first floor of a large building, you are greeted by either laura or Roberta who are very pleasant and welcoming
The facilities are nice with separate bathrooms for men and women, the rooms are spacious and in the corridor there are many bookshelves containing everything from the obvious books to first aid kits and games
The kitchen was well organised and well stocked. Each room had its own cupboard and shelf in the fridge which had the essentials for making tea/coffee
As it was my birthday (which laura and Roberta didn't know until they saw my passport) they went out there way to get my a bottle of wine and wrote a lovely note on it wish me a happy birthday which I thought was exceptionally good hosting
All in all if I was to return I would defiantly be booking again
Close to everything
SokaNorenon 04/03/2017 20:06Me and my boyfriend stayed there during mid January. Most of the time we spent it outside so we didn't manage to meet Laura. But we met Roberta, Laura's colleague. She was very friendly and told us everything we need to know about Rome. We stayed at La Rosa room. It had a spatious double bed (two beds joined together), a tv and a safety box. There is a different bathroom for ladies and men. There are only 4 or 5 rooms at the place, so it is not a problem. During our 5 days stay, I don't recall a day that we had a problem.
Regarding the breakfast, you can either choose to have it at a cafeteria nearby or at the B&B itself. We chose the second. Everyday the breakfast was waiting for us at our closet.
We had a wonderful staying and the location was very convenient. If you like walking, then actually it is between 3 metro stations (although the one is a little closer) but we didn't worry about that. Fontana di Trevi and some other sightseeings are at a walking distance. I would recommend it and I will visit it again if I happen to be in Rome.
The only problem we encountered was that the internet was very slow at some time or it was disconnecting. Maybe some visitors had forgotten some torrent or a streaming service open.
PS: Please also keep in mind that since last year there is a tourist tax in Rome, so for every hotel, hostel or B&B ask if the tax is included in the price. Laura had informed us already and the tax was included in the price, but just to be sure ask.
L'Incanto di Roma B&B, an excellent place to stay in Rome
marvinwesternon 11/01/2016 22:11This not a 4-star hotel. But then that is not what we were looking for. We were looking for a very reasonable B&B to help keep our costs low so that we could walk to the treasures and sights of the city. That is what we got and much more. The B&B is about a 20 minute walk east of the Villa Borghese within a couple of blocks of the old city wall. Laura and Roberta were great hosts. They were extremely helpful terms of acquainting us to the layout of the city. The B&B is on the first floor (that is one floor up for us Americans). Our room was pleasant and the bed was quite comfortable. Everything was provided for a do-it-yourself breakfast. The kitchen was cozy for multiple couples, but we enjoyed meeting the other guests and finding out a little about what brought them to Rome. When we return to Rome, Laura will be my first contact about lodging. L'Incanto di Roma is a great place to stay.
The most beautiful and comfortable BnB I have stayed in so far!
CSPK0802on 25/06/2015 07:00BnB L'Incanto di Roma is a beautiful, colorful house managed so well by the owner - Laura. She is an excellent host.
We were welcomed to her pretty house and treated to little candies upon arrival.
The property is located at a wonderful location. Everything in the city is at a walkable distance from here.
The breakfast is laid out well. Each room has its own assigned fridge shelf and a shelf in the kitchen which makes things really organized and comfortable for the guests.
The kitchen and bathroom are neat and tidy and well stocked.
Laura is a really cooperative and helpful host. She will guide you through the city routes and maps, tell you about the best of eateries and markets and also make some nice suggestions for sightseeing. The wifi works really well. You will have no reason to complain if you stay here.
Recommended, nice place, good location
Edwin Con 26/05/2015 22:29This is a first floor apartment with a few rooms and a couple of common areas. Shared bathrooms (at least for our room) but clean and pleasant. Good communication and lovely welcome (although place is unmanned so you'll have to commit to an arrival time). Great location 10-15 minutes walk from Termini station, pleasant area with a few restaurants. Breakfast is either a continental options left in the fridge or a token for pastries & coffee in the cafe round the corner. Recommended!
