Accommodation of a very high standard.
James Gon 01/08/2016 12:52I stayed in the Hotel Zurich Linde for more than a week and found it to be excellent. The rooms are not large, at least by American standards, but they are well equipped, spotlessly clean and quiet and there is free wifi in every room. The owners really made me feel as if I were a guest of the family, rather than just another paying customer. I was not able to try the restaurant, but if the breakfast is anything to go by, it must be very good. This is a high quality place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

philosionon 05/08/2015 16:16The building is old, so it tends to be noisy. Other than that, there were no problems. I had an amazing price offer and a relatively large double room. The breakfast spread is continental with a terrific cheese plate and great breads.

The right entrance was no so easy to find, and we had to ring the door twice to understand.
Rooms were quiet and breakfast ok. The all house a little bit old style.
a pity in appenzell
Jan Ron 16/09/2013 15:01Due to a cancellation, I ended up in hotel Zur Linde in Teufen, in the lovely Appenzeller region (Switserland). A mediocre hotel with a very moderate breakfast choice. Notwithstanding the fact that this hotel is situated outside the village in the very quiet Appenzeller land, the loud fountain in front of the room spoils everything. Absence of airco combined with loud (and ugly) fountain = bad sleep, which was not repaired by an adequate breakfast. Happy to continue my journey!
