Good location and friendly, helpful staff
Dawn Don 17/08/2017 18:46Staff were great, our double room not over-big but perfectly adequate with tea and coffee making facilities plus mini-bar fridge big enough for our milk carton! There wasn't a lot of wardrobe space or hangers if you're staying more than a couple of nights. We did find some storage space cleverly hidden in the bedside tables. The TV had the usual channels - only News ones in English; it would be nice if a couple of entertainment ones could be added.
The one big negative for us is that all the bathrooms are open - that means no door! Some of them open alongside the bed giving full view! We asked for, and were given, a room where the bathroom entrance is round the corner. (The loo does have a door thankfully.)
We didn't eat in the restaurant or take breakfast so can't comment on either. We had a couple of drinks in the bar - prices much as one would expect in a hotel.
There are 2 PCs in the hotel bar which we needed to use for work purposes but found it almost impossible to work out the system - the maintenance man, called to assist by reception, was defeated too! A 'how to use' sheet would be helpful but we'll take the laptop next time! The internet worked reasonably well for our purposes - emails and searching info on local attractions etc.
We didn't use the sauna & fitness facilities so are unable to review those.
Very quiet
Ossypaulon 08/08/2017 22:50Spent 3 nights at the hotel and was not disappointed. The hotel is very well positioned for tourists and fun goers. Surrounded by very nice historical buildings and streets we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially appreciated the 2pm late check out.
Nothing special - good for families
francesco111305on 31/07/2017 14:27I had a business trip for few nights and I stayed in the Lindner hotel in Hamburg. I didn't experience anything bad there, but it's also nothing special. It seemed to me very suitable for families with children as corridors and room have a lot of decorations zoo-themed. Cleanness level was good and also the breakfast in the morning.

rooms are large with ours even having a balcony with lounge chair, chairs and a small table.
Excellent hotel, perfect location

The hotel was perfect, in a quiet location close to the city centre, transport and restaurants, the rooms were very spacious and choice of breakfast was excellent - there is also a lovely bar for pre dinner drinks or a night cap.
The staff could not have been more welcoming.
