In the stadium only disappointment was that can not pay with cash.
For one time visitor not user friendly.
Hotel itselle was just perfect.
Location 20 min walk from train station.
There is really no need for car.

quinnysue325on 29/07/2017 17:41Booked here for one night stay en route from vienna to amsterdam and wasn't disappointed. Chosen because of its close proximity to motorway. Lovely modern hotel, made to feel welcome at check in and bar staff very friendly. Room more than adequate, clean and comfortable bed. The bistro food was good and very reasonably priced as was the beer. Certainly recommend, good value for money and will stay again.
When your standard expectations are raised...
Claas Con 20/07/2017 20:27...all other hotels you go into suffer. This is the case for me after having spent a number of weeks (about 10 at this point, with 15 more scheduled) at BayArena Lindner Hotel.
The Hotel is part of the Bundesliga Stadium of Bayer Leverkusen and thus spectacular for that reason only. To a football fan there is the added benefit of seeing some faces usually only seen on TV (this week I did see Sven Bender after a practice session in the bar area having a water...).
The food is extremely good, the menu offers basic dishes (sure, you can ask for more fancy stuff) and these are ALWAYS TO THE POINT. I have had fish here during all the weeks of my stays and it was always good. This is one of the few German restaurants where you can actually order the way your beef should be prepared. Medium is Medium, Medium well is Medium Well and Medium Rare is just that. I have yet to eat a sub-superior meal here (no, no Michelin stars, just really well prepared and well tasting food in a relaxing and comforting atmosphere).
The breakfast is also very good and to me well worth the €20,-. Admittedly: I use the Latte-glasses to get my juice and water (double the capacity) but please do me one favor: refrain from taking one of the 4 water bottles to your table exclusively - there will be 100-something people having breakfast that day - just stand up and get another glass of water if you need it - and using the larger glasses seems much less intrusive, I think!
The Hotel layout is somewhat unique caused by the stadium location, and it was designed beautifully i.m.h.o.. The bar and restaurant are have a large free space above them (6 stories) giving the impression almost of being inside a large stadium itself. The staf at the bar add to the postive impression. They are extremely attentative, capable of handling "extra" requests with ease and very quick, even when understaffed due to a large group arriving without previous notice.
The "main" hotel staff (reception, cleaning, etc.) are just the same and capable of reacting to just about any unusual request quickly and efficiently. To put it diferently: they put many a concierge in 5* hotels to shame!
The rooms are the one area that could use brushing up when compared to service and staff quality. This is complaining against a very high level, mind you...
The rooms are clean, well equipped and offer all amenities one could require. The suites/studios are very desirable since they offer more than twice the space and give the feeling of having a flat of your own as hotel room.
The one thing I still struggle to understand is the difference between basic/economy, business and first class rooms!?!
Mayonnaise and Wine

After some confusion about mayonnaise and wine and some cultural misunderstanding the staff were fantastic and literally could not do enough for you.
Where on earth do you get a barman that is busy working with a full bar and takes the time to see that you glass is empty and by time you have taken the last drop, puts a complete refill in its place.
Full of humour and service. The staff were frankly superb.
I will be definitely stopping at this hotel again
Nice hotel with Air Conditioner
B Con 06/07/2017 17:14This is a very nice hotel, it is attached to the Soccer (FOOTBALL) stadium, The food is good. If the temperature is very hot it is very nice to go back to a room with Air Conditioning. This hotel has a small but nice gym for working out in the mornings. Breakfast is included in most rooms.
