Tranquility !!
Fernando Ron 13/02/2017 16:15The hotel is hidden inside a forrest. Suddenly you have the Golf Course (we saw it covered with snow with cross country skiers all over). Beautiful view.
The hotel is what you expect, luxury without being over. Very good service, staff always ready to please you. Rooms are nice and spacious They had three restaurants working serving very good food. The Spa area and swimming pool are something else. It's ideal place to rest. It is a pitty that it has too many children running around.
A relaxing extended weekend
Andre Son 28/01/2017 11:35Frome check-in to check-out we experienced the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very clean and the design and interior is very warm and inviting. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing time. Even though we are not golfers, there was enough to do and see close by. The sauna/spa area was very clean and well maintained.
Could have been perfect, but...
Rudymamaon 27/11/2016 19:43Enjoyed our stay very much, and found the grounds and facilities beautiful, peaceful, tastefully decorated with very good service.
The reason for the four stars only was the fact that something was damaged in our room by housekeeping, and after we alerted management, they confirmed with the staff responsible. An apology was extended, but not an offer to replace or refund the damaged item. Even a minor token like a bottle of wine or something like that would have gone a long way. ("New staff" is never a good excuse, it does come down to training, and a strict policy of honesty.) The other minor inconvenience was that the advertised water in the room was limited to the first night only. In a place of that caliber it would not too much to replace it daily.
One of the three saunas (steam) in the otherwise lovely spa was not used by anyone because of the stale odor.
Extended Golf Weekend
Franz Ron 11/07/2016 21:25The hotel offers good quality standards to spend a relaxing weekend combined with golf. The standard rooms are a bit small for such a resort, but has all what one expect from a 4 star superior hotel. The breakfast is excellent and has a huge variety from hot to cold items. One chef prepares according to the wish of the guests a la minute eggs or omeletts. A variety of fresh fruits cuts and also fresh juices are abailable at no extra charge. The food quality in all restaurants was very good. Friendly staff.
The spa facilities are excellent with a nice panorama view from the sauna with nices terrace, one indoor and outdoor pool and plenty of relaxing areas.
We definitely will return. Thanks for a great stay
Peacefully Lost in the Woods
ViViO_Fon 14/03/2016 13:00Was in Germany for Business Trip and I was glad the hotels in town were sold out so that I could have a chance to stay in this beautiful and peaceful hotel that was quietly hidden in the woods.
The morning greets it's guests with abundance fresh air and enchanting vast space of greeneries. (We can never expect this in Singapore)
The hotel room which I stayed in wasn't a suite but the comfort, space and luxury surpass any downtown hotel's suite.
Breakfast has a generous spread and was among the best I've had in Germany so far.
The hotel executives and crews were very efficient & friendly.
Even though my colleague and I could not speak German, they still came by to chat with us during breakfast in English! (Danke!)
We were lucky enough to see the hotel prepare Christmas decorations and it was really beautiful.
Although this beautiful hotel wasn't located in town, it wasn't a very far drive either.
Travelers for business or peaceful holiday, this hotel is recommended.
