What People are saying

Outstanding Adults only hotel 5 star value with exceptional service and wonderful food!

twitcher777on 31/08/2017 16:40

We came to this adults only hotel on the hillside near Lindos for a weeks relaxation. TUI messed up our booking but the hotel could not do enough to make us satisfied and happy with our room (my husband has difficulty getting around)With grateful thanks to Irina the housekeeper: the response and result We're far in excess of what one usually gets in hotels. Everywhere was beautifully clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and most helpful. The room was a good size with a nice balcony, simply decorated but clean and fresh. The bathroom was adequate ( note someone said it was poor but ours was sufficient and certainly clean with quality toiletries.)The restaurant was a sheer joy to see with wonderful selections from sushi to cooked meats, lovely fresh vegetables and fruit; the sweets were to die for! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the restaurant manager was continually walking round checking up on the choices. We are not easily pleased and have been fortunate enough to stay and dine in some of the worlds best hotels and this one certainly ranks up there with some of the best. One evening we dined in the A la Carte restaurant, newly opened, and the food was divine! Gorgeous amuse bouche, sumptuous prawns, grilled sea bass and exceptional service made the evening a sheer delight, thank you. Looking forward to going back in May 2018!

Hotel is okay but needs improvement

Me and my partner have returned from this hotel feeling slightly disappointed. The hotel itself is lovely in the reception area and is very clean. The room was nice and fresh and looked freshly decorated but the bathroom was awful it really needed to some TLC and really let the room down, the shower leaked everywhere and flooded the bathroom where it actually became unsafe. We had to keep asking for fresh towels and didn't like how we kept getting disturbed for our bin emptying and facilities filling up.
The food at the hotel is okay although we found that they tended to repeat a lot of the types of food and with it being buffet style we found it difficult when they did fish 4 times in one week! They have themed nights but they clearly don't stick to them as a few nights we ate out because we really weren't impressed. I would recommend b&b but then there isn't really anywhere to eat out in walking distance of the surrounding area. We also expressed our concerns to the receptionist who said he would look into this for us but nothing was done as we had paid to for our evening meals there and it wasn't fair that we had to eat out because they wouldn't accommodate us. Even though we wouldn't have minded a sandwich because that's all we kept buying from the shop and eating in our room.
We also tried to book the mini bus from reception twice but they never got back to us which was frustrating.
We also had to complain about our air conditioning as it didn't even work once we arrived which is really surprising for a newly refurbished hotel.
The surrounding area is nice although we thought it was closer to Lindos then it actually is, the bus is €1.80pp and the taxi is €9. The vlycha beach a little walk down is also lovely, we did a lazy day boat trip from there which was one of our favourite days out! I would definitely recommend. There is also a beach restaurant right at end past the really cheap supermarket which is stunning, I would defo recommend, we found it on the last day and wish we'd known about it sooner.
I would 100% recommend Lindos as Rhodes is a beautiful island for a holiday but I wouldn't visit this hotel again find it very over priced for what it is.

Lovely Stay

My partner and I have just returned from a lovely week at the Lindos Village on a B&B basis. Clean, very modern room. Gorgeous views. Buffet breakfast lovely with a wide variety of choice. We didn't quite realise just how far the hotel was from Lindos Village (bus/taxi definitely required) Bus €1.80pp approx every 3 hours alternatively a taxi €9. This however was not an issue. Small shop across the street came in rather handy. ATM available. Pool area absolutely gorgeous! Views stunning. Approx 60 steps down to the pool so not recommended if any mobility problems. Pool bar very nice with lovely food. Rather expensive however we didn't eat here every afternoon. I am unable to comment on restaurant food - we ate out in Lindos each evening - gorgeous! Lovely staff especially Christos who was always on hand to help with your sombreros and the lovely George with refreshing drinks. The only part that disappointed us slightly was out check out. We checked out at 12pm as expected however did not fly until 10pm that evening. We were offered a courtesy room for half an hour which was great (free of charge) This courtesy room however was the hotel Spa (lovely we thought!) The spa facilities were lovely however the showers had no hook for a towel or shower head nor was there a hair dryer. This quite a struggle after a day of sun creams and swimming (especially with long thick hair) I therefore turned my shower into a quick leg rinse and opted out of the hair wash. Quite an uncomfortable 10 hour journey home but thankfully I was prepared with baby wipes, a hair comb and dry shampoo! This however has not changed our views on the hotel and would most definitely return again in the future (with an earlier return flight) Thank you to all the staff at the Lindos Village for a lovely stay! You're all fab!

Great Hotel with Amazing Sea Views

Matthew Don 28/08/2017 13:14

We really enjoyed our week away at the picturesque Lindos Village and Spa.

The room while simple was tastefully decorated. What made the room was the spacious terrace with amazing views over the resort and stunning bay. We enjoyed spending the evening on the terrace.

The restaurant is in a brilliant location and as a result almost all of the outside tables had great views. It is a really tranquil setting to have dinner whilst watching the sun set across the bay. The quality of the food was equally great. There was a good selection for breakfast including pastries, fresh fruits and freshly-cooked eggs. We were on half board and ate in the restaurant each night without getting bored. With each evening having a different theme- there was a great variety of dishes and the quality of the fish and meat was really good. Our only suggestions would be for the food to be kept slightly warmer and to have fresh fruit juice at breakfast.

We made the trip into Lindos a couple of time during the week. The hotel is located about 10 mins away from Lindos on the local bus (which is less than €2 each way). There is also the option to catch a taxi which offers slightly more flexibility.

The beach at the hotel is about 10 mins walk from the main building. It is a pebble beach and has a refreshing breeze. There are also a couple of nice beach bars. It cost €10 to rent two beds for the day.

Finally, special mention must go to the staff who were all friendly and would go out of their way to help. They are a real credit to the hotel.

Overall we had a really relaxing break and Lindos Village Hotel ticks all of the boxes for a relaxing week away in the sun.

Great hotel - few small flaws

Stayed at hotel for 4 nights (adults only) but a lovely break / booked with Thomas Cook. Staff really helpful and friendly, brochure says 4 star but probably nearer a 3 star. Stayed in a junior suite - air con in main room not very effective and really noisy so ended up turning it off. Nice toiletries on arrival but no more delivered on subsequent days. A bit tricky to find your way around the complex, more signage would help. Only stayed B & B which was excellent but hotel is quite remote so options to eat outside non existent unless you get the bus or a cab into Lindos. We paid the €15 and tried the hotel buffet one night but other than the pool bar which closes at 6 there is nowhere to eat other than the a la carte restaurant which has to be booked 24hrs in advance - somewhere to grab an informal bite to eat would be a real benefit. You can use the facilities at the adjacent Lindos Royal and cut through to the nice pebbled beach (about 10 mins) we only found this out on the last day.
Overall would go again but the eating arrangements are the only consideration.
