The Good: This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the heart of Lisbon which, for us, was fine. There is also a tube station a couple of minutes walk, and a 28E tram stop close by. There is an excellent Pastelaria which is also a couple of minutes walk down the road, which sells an abundance of local delicacies as well as good coffee.
The beds are, in my opinion, very comfortable, if you like a firm mattress.
The Bad: The pillows are what can only be described as lumpy! We had four of these offending items and ended up using the scatter cushions as pillows, which were much more comfortable.
The shower head in the bathroom was bust; the seal around it had worn out and, when the shower was turned on, water sprayed absolutely everywhere! We informed the front desk of this and it was replaced. Be warned about the pressure of the water here too; when turning the shower off, the shower head sprang from the holder - this could be quite dangerous if you're not prepared for it!!
Cleaning of the rooms: you have to put out the door sign if you want your room cleaned. This is the first time either of us had come across this. In our experience, your room is cleaned daily, not on request.
On returning to the hotel one afternoon we were unable to get into the hotel building as there was only one member of staff on the front desk and they were, one would assume, on a comfort break. They therefore locked the doors.
All in all this is an ok hotel for a quick stay in Lisbon. Thankfully we were here only for three nights. Had we have been here for a week, it would not have been good!
Very good location. Clean rooms.

Location
The hotel is a 20 min walk to the center.. 50m from the metro and the street it's in is loaded with cafes and restaurant. It's a 15 min drive from the airport.. I payed 6 euros for Uber from and to the airport.
Rooms
Rooms are super clean.. was very happy to find a mini fridge in the room.. something that 3 star hotels seem to no longer provide. Air conditioner works well
Staff was very helpful
Breakfast was as expected for a budget hotel.. toast, jams, scrambelled eggs
My only dissapontnent was the internet.. thus the 4 stars.. super slow.. particularly in the peek time.. unusable..I had work I wanted to do on the internet which involved simple browsing but that wasn't possible.. I was there at the peak time when the hotel was fully booked.. if they offered a premium internet service for an extra fee that would have solved the issue.
Overall, I would recommend.
Great Location

Nice hotel located in a great location. Good value for location.
Hotel is clean and modern. There is a Metro station less than 50 feet from hotel.
Hotel is located in the Intendente, Anjos area which has a lot of small cafes, restaurants and you can walk to downtown Lisbon in approx 20-30 minutes.
Cab from the airport will take about 10 - 15 minutes.
Lovely small hotel

Negatives first: The hotel staff aren't very helpful, Friendly and quite dismissive, the area around the hotel is quite poor and there are a lot of homeless people due to a hostel and soup kitchen near by but we always felt safe and they were polite and left you alone if you say "no thank you"
Positives: The hotel is clean but small and the breakfast was basic but adequate. Lisbon is a beautiful and vibrant city and i only wish i had booked a week instead of 3 days as there is so much to see and do, i would recommend if it's on your agenda to do the Tram tour early on as you see so many places i wish i could have revisited later on. On our hottest day it was 42 and is quite unbearable, apparently it gets much hotter in July / August as you would expect.
The easiest way to get around is definately the Tuk Tuk and you can barter with the drivers to get a good price, when you arrive at the airport outside find one of the tour reps and they will sell you a ticket for the bus as the wait for a taxi was so long. We got a taxi back to airport when leaving at it cost £7 euro's and it saves you any hassle :-)
Hotel issues:
I visited Lisbon with a friend and had booked 2 double rooms, front facing with a balcony.....or so i thought!!! what we ended up with was 1 double room side facing with a balcony and 1 twin room side facing with a window and 1 had a fridge and 1 didn't!!!. The rooms are very small and are fine for 1 person but would be too cramped for 2 but the rooms are very clean.
Check in issues:
i requested early check in as our flight was arriving at 11am and check in would have been 2pm and they point blank refused the early check in and so we went to a cafe down the street and have a couple of drinks whilst waiting and this is fine but it was 38 in the shade. staff barely speak english and it was quite difficult at times to communicate.
On a positive note, Lisbon is an amazing city and i can't wait to visit again but i think i would try and find a hotel closer to the city centre this time.
Great location

Staff were very helpful ,we could leave our backpacks at the hotel before check in time.
We will stay in this hotel again in the future.
