I've realized over time that motels can have a plethora of features but what I crave most as a business traveler is fresh air and a good pillow. Gateway has opening windows onto trees and this is bliss to me.
The place was also very clean, modern and well equipped. Service was mostly good too. Will definitely be back.

Modern hotel short drive from Lismore Airport. Room was nicely styled & appeared clean. Bed was comfortable & pillows were beautifully soft. Bathroom was roomy with a large shower.
Ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. Great tasting food & definitely value for money when it came to portion sizes. Friendly staff. Would definitely return & stay again.

Can't thank David and Brent enough for looking after our team at the Lismore masters 2 weeks ago. We had a final to play after check out and David and Brent let us use a room to shower and change no charge. We had some players going straight to the airport and some who had a long drive ahead of them so it was great to be able to shower and change. The rooms were clean and tidy, pool cool but nice, great location, staff very friendly. We will be back to stay again in 2 years.

I stayed for 5 days whilst my wife was hospitalised.
Unfortunately, I became ill with the flu but Brett and all staff were very understanding and helpful during this time.
The restaurant was still not quite back to full operation due to the recent floods there, but was acceptable.

Hats off to bouncing back so well after the floods! Service was exemplary and very welcoming. I found the rooms to be quite standard in relation to fittings, upkeep and ambience but the tariff was a lot for what was on offer. The hotel is walking distance to the CBD and although close to the Bruxner Highway I didn't suffer any road noise. Parking is under the hotel and rooms accessed via a lift. Vending machines and a very welcome ice maker is available in the lift lobby area. A large and functioning restaurant is on premises as is a swimming pool but neither were trialled.
