Same Time Next Year! We greatly enjoyed our stay once more.
RostrevorEBon 08/03/2017 03:52We greatly enjoyed this last visit to the Little Mui Ne Cottages. We've stayed there many times, and look at it as a home away from home. Nestled under palms and facing the South China Sea, the hotel is situated at the less busy end of Mui Ne, within walking distance of tourist attraction, The Fairy Stream, and a few minutes by Moto from the Red Dunes, and a magnificent view of the Fishing Village. The hotel accommodation is set in manicured garden, or beside an excellent pool, the beach front bungalow's been within say 20metres of the beach. The restaurant is open and airy, and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. The Chef Mr Binh's omelettes, and his pho are favourites. The restaurant staff (I mention Hieu and Loi) are polite, friendly and helpful ---Mr Tho (administration) and front desk staff were always a great help to us.
The hotel offers an excellent dinner menu, (our meals there were well presented and most enjoyable) and local restaurants are very good too! We found the Golden Sunlight great--well priced beautiful meals --which you will find about 200 metres on the left/left from the hotel entrance.
We used the Hotel luxury Limousine for our transport both ways between Ho Chi Minh City and Mui Ne,and in our estimation is worth the extra cost. For local transport, we find riding pillion with the local Moto men, you'll find at the hotel entrance as the most cost effective way of getting about. These guys know the place and offer good advice. You can rent a good motor bike from the hotel too (recommend under 50cc), or try friendly Mr Tiến Dat Travel. You can hire a jeep and driver to go further afield. Mui Ne is worth a stay. We will return!
NEVER EAT AT 'bo ke/ cho hai san/ hai san tuoi song du loa SEAFOOD CENTER. (add: 120C Nguyen dinh chieu). It has snake picture on it. I don't usually write reviews but this place was one of the worst place ever in my life.

Suffocating
Sim1Brightonon 07/01/2017 05:15This hotel has stunning views and a wonderful private beach but don't expect anymore than that.
When you ask staff for something it seems like the biggest inconvenience ever. The hotel guests are primarily Russian so English is spoken very little here. On my birthday I returned from a lovely massage and was met with the housekeeping staff shouting at me about a missing towel.
The manager called my room and said I had stolen a towel. He came to my room and proceeded for about 10 mins to complain and support his housekeeping staff in their accusations. I tried to explain we hadn't stolen it would turn up they were not satisfied. I had to get quite angry myself and ask the manager to leave my room, before the manager could leave the 2nd floor my friend returned from the beach with the towel.
The housekeeping staff over the next 2 days stole money from both rooms we had booked,I guess assuming we deserved it because of the towel saga. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE ever again, I've had better hospitality and food at budget hostels !!!!!
Tired
vive71on 12/12/2016 04:26Westayed in the beach front bungalow and it really wasn't worth the price. The hotel is located at the far end of Ham Thein and is a 15 minutes drive to Mui Ne on one end and 30 minutes to Phan Thiet on the other. There are some restaurants, massage spas and convenience stores just outside. There are many other shops further up the street about 30 minute walk or 5 minute ride. The room was large as was the bathroom although the furniture and fittings could do with some upgrading. The room smelled musty when we first arrived and needed a good airing. The aircon was adequate while the fan was tricky in that it had only 2 settings - fast and off. There was a fridge, coffee making facilities but no safe. There was no problem with mosquitoes in the room itself but sitting out in the balcony in the evenings is not a good idea. Breakfast was varied but tasteless with the usual pastries, fresh fruit, local delicacies and eggs made to order. The staff were friendly enough with passable English. They have a gym which looked tired and the pool was good. They had plenty of sun decks out on the beach where you can sit and watch the local fishermen go about their work. They also had motorcycles to rent although be sure to return it on time because they will charge you a hefty fine for late returns (20k for the first hour and 80k for the second while the rental is only 200k per day). On a side note, the hotel staff will assure you that the mopeds are less than 50cc and therefore do not require a licence to operate. The local police tend to disagree and you will be 'fined' if you do not have an international drivers permit or local driving licence.
OK except its remote location
Nga Hon 07/09/2016 08:49This is a small and cozy property located far from the centre of Mui Ne (around 5-6km). There are 15 Bungalows and 48 rooms in a 4 storey building (but no lift). Rooms are in traditional Vietnamese style with simple decoration, look eco-friendly with rattan furniture. The beach is nice, much quieter and less touristy than the one in tourist area.
