If You Want Internet or A/C This Hotel Isn't For You

I was looking for an apartment to stay in as I'd be in Frankfurt for business longer than a week. I was hoping for the best as this hotel had mixed reviews. First off I arrived early and they were able to check me right into a room (which was very much appreciated). The internet however didn't work on the floor they put me on so later on in the day I was moved to a different room. I was told that"internet doesn't work on the higher floors." The new room looked like the last, sparsely furnished and a bit banged up, but that was OK as the hotel is in a great location and was close to the tram line I needed. The first day's breakfast was basic but good and the coffee really got me going. Later on that day after returning from work all the cabinets in the kitchenette were locked and my drink supply was not refilled (my rate included mini-bar at no extra cost).

The stay went fine, the hotel was just OK, and the complimentary drinks (water, beer, juice) was hardly ever restocked when I returned after work. The internet never got much better (it would just die on me and then magically start working a few minutes/hours later - this review was actually written and saved to my desktop.)

Suggestions for management: 1) Fix you internet so that it works - perhaps issue codes to folks staying to avoid providing free internet to the neighborhood and degrading the service (my internet didn't work half the time) 2) Fix your A/C units in the room so that they work (mine never did) or state you don't have A/C on your website 3) Have your room cleaners refill the mini-fridge when they visit the room to clean or shortly there after. 4) Provide a sheet to guests with breakfast times, complimentary services (sauna? drinks in fridge? how to get keys to kitchenette? gym? back patio?) so that I know of the services you offer. 5) Provide CAT-6 cables so that folks can plug in their laptops into the wall to have working internet (I don't know if the wall plugs work as I didn't bring a cable with me).

Spacious and comfortable

We spent three nights at the hotel. Very warm welcome from a young man when we arrived. The room is quite spacious. A large living room, bath room, kitchen and a bed room. Room is very neat and the hotel provides cleaning every day. There are many heavy doors has to be opened which could be a bit inconvenient. Our room was at the top floor which had view of the skyscrapers and the town. Breakfast has sufficient alternatives of food. You must ask the receptionist for coffe/te or eggs. Week day had more varieties of food than week-end. Walking distance to the old town, river Main, shopping centers, restaurants etc. Free Wi-fi and flat screen TV included.

A couple of nights in Frankfurt

Friendly staff, fairly basic accommodation although spacious and comes with a separate living room area. Adequate for a couple of nights stay but no more. Centrally located and within easy access of city centre. Breakfast is very basic but plentiful. Air conditioning not great, making sleeping difficult in warm weather.

Excellent!

In a period of 6 months I was 4 times in FRA for work, staying at this hotel the last 2 times.
It is very well located, on city center. A 5 min walk from the Zeil shopping pedestrian street and Konstablerwache, main train / bus / tram / metro station on the city, with direct connection to the airport.

The hotel has 2 nice places to eat just around the corner: a pub right across it and the Maingold Cafe, great for a dinner, night drinks or a cake & tea!

The hotel check in is through a cafe where breakfast is served on the same building.
It is a residence flat as well, so rooms are spacious, with living room and small kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
It is well preserved and modern.
They have an elevator and a paid garage (fairly priced)

A key let you in and out independently.

The staff is really nice! Pro active and helpful!

Will definately come back!!
