The best service ever
지원 신on 20/08/2017 07:47I stayed in this hotel for one night, when my friend and I lost the train transfer in Ljubljana. We were not in right minds due to the condition so that we accidentally booked the hotel on the wrong date. However, (it was 9:00 at night and was raining hard) the lady at the reception desk managed a room for us and we could stay there without paying additional fees
(except tourist tax etc.).
It was so nice of her and we thank her very much. The gentleman at the reception desk next day was very kind, too. My memory to this hotel is wonderful due to the generosity they showed us. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel.
Close to Ljubljana centre
Emma Pon 16/08/2017 22:35Wanted to explore the city and this is the closest place to take a motorhome. Spacious pitches, very green, friendly staff. On site restaurant/bar and fitness centre. You can use pool next door at a discount. Facilities ok - could be a little cleaner/modern but as it was only an overnight stop it was ok.
We walked from the site onto the city and it took an hour as it was soo hot! Taxi back €8.
I would stay again. Can't say anything about the hotel or mobile homes

Yuen Mon 11/08/2017 22:13The description on the website says it has free Wi-Fi. What this means is you get a piece of paper with a password for access for one device for 24hrs only. After that you can buy more for €2 per day. The website says there is air conditioning in the rooms. What this means is a small a/c unit in the smallest bedroom only. The largest bedroom had a door to the balcony so I assume they thought a/c wasn't needed then - they are wrong. The website says you can check-in from 12pm, which is a mistake as we found out - the lady on the reception said the previous guests only left at 11am (!) and shrugged her shoulders. Updated notice in main reception area did say from 3pm but that doesn't help when we have a loaded car, really ready to unpack and stretch our legs after hours in the car. Beaten, we went away and checked in later.
The first morning of our stay we went to the main reception to report that 3 lights in the rooms weren't working, as well as pay for our stay early (we were leaving in the very early hours on the last morning). The queues were busy again. They have signs for HOTEL and CAMP but no one was sat at the Hotel side so everyone waited in the Camp queue. They started asking for people who wanted to check out first which was understandable but they were so disorganised it was frustrating.
Customer service isn't a priority for them from my observation of eyes being rolled up to the ceiling when a customer called on the phone asking for the check-in time. His colleague was having a mini breakdown due to what they must have felt was overwhelming customers, rudely telling the people behind us that they where in the wrong queue whilst pointing up saying there were signs. The people behind us muttered that there wasn't anyone in the Hotel queue in the first place. We got a days tax per person removed from our bill for the lights not working but didn't fix them during our stay.
My teenage children went looking for drinking water and was told by the reception staff that it was in the sanitary block. I know, I know, they should've known what that meant but they didn't but no further advice was given, ie they could've pointed the area out on a site map (which they have to hand readily). Yes, they eventually found the right area and we had drinking water for the night.
Positives : loads of families camping and kids having fun so camping facilities seem to be very good.
Disappointing as a hotel.
Close to city
Karin064on 22/07/2017 10:41Very expensive camping, paid 65 euro for one night 4 persons. You have to pay 25 euro extra to use the pool. Pitches are nice, enough shade.
Showers dirty and not enough. Sanitary units need maintenance.
Lots of noise from groups of teenagers and loud music from pool.
Pro; close to city.
Good location, poor facilities
bernardstroeson 21/07/2017 21:55Why should you go here
- Close to the city centre of ljubljana
- Lots of space at the campsite
- Big trees provide a lot of shade
- Friendly staff
What would you have to put up with
- Poor facilities, the showers were rather dirty and most of them were also out of order. (This was only the case at the women shower facilities)
- The campsite is located near a rail road and although it wasn't too disturbing you could hear the trains pretty clearly.
- The food at the restaurant was not spectacular, but not expensive, the price did match the quality of the food.
In conclusion the campsite isn't too bad if you're looking for a place to stay for a short period of time.
