I could not imagine how wonderful this place could be! Without any difficulties we received a room with the view to the mountains, the room was clean and very cozy. Personnel is enormously friendly and professional. The location is far a bit from the Trento but at the same time a bus station is not so far away away. Thank you very much!

A very Nice hotel In an old villa. Nice Charming Rooms. Nice courtyards with flowers. Restaurant In very Nice surroundibgs and Dinner ok. Only downside was that Breakfirst wasn't great. Located In mountains outside Trento. E ould certainly recommend...

My wife & I stayed here for 3 nights with another couple. We all loved it ! Our rooms were spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds. Slept well, nice and quiet. Wi-fi worked well in most parts of the villa but not in our room. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices ,mostly homemade. Lovely rustic breakfast dining area with an outside patio , looking onto vineyards and mountains. Our hostess could not have been friendlier. Made us feel very welcome and was helpful about things to see and do in the area.
The whole villa was beautiful , lots of flowers and plants , nice and old but well kept.All the staff were very happy and nice to us. The supper dining room opened at 7pm. Can't say enough about the food ! We had planned to dine there the first night then try other places the next 2 , but it was so good we ate there all 3 nights. Lots of choices , homemade ,great wine (of course) Our second evening dining was our friends wedding anniversary and our hostess gave us some local grappa on the house.
I could say lots more nice things about this place , and would stay there again.

Charming unique old villa!

We were travelling from Tuscany back to Germany and were looking for a place to stay. I found this place in the internet and fell for it as the pictures were so charming compared to the other hotels in that area. We were not dissappointed! the villa is place in the mountains very close to the highway, so you can immediatly continue your travels next morning without losing time. The hotel is very close to a few vinyards which males the way to it already very romantic. when we drove onto the property we loved it on the spot. So many wild plants were growing at the sides which looked so charming in connection wirh the old building. The parking lot was right next to the hotel so didn't have to carry our luggage forever. The lady who welcomed us was very professional and very nice. Check in was easy and our room was different from everything we have ever been before. old countryhouse charme woth lots of flower pictures in a room with wooden walls. We were cracking up over the bathroom which was completely held in red! Shower was working just fine and the price for the double deluxe really small!
The dinner was in a really interesting decor. Lots of pans were hanging on the walls. The red housewone was exquisit but I was not too fond about the food. We chose the tasting menue from all kind of local foods and for me it was just too heavy wirh the meats, sausage, strudl, bacon dumplings, so I just tried a little and moved the plate aside. The service immediatly responded and asked me if I rather wanted a salad where she read my mind and i was happy about it - it came right on the spot. we slept very well, for my husband the room was a little overheated, i don't like to freeze so i didn't mind. Breakfast area was very charming as well. We were not to thrilled with the breakfast options but i have to admit that we normally check in with very expensive hotels (4-5 stars) so regarding the price breakfast was very reasonable!! If we ever are in that area again we would come back. This place is so different, special and unique in every way that it is a great experience in comparison to all design hotels or "the expected".

great potential wasted for lack of attention

location is really great, immersed in the nature and with loads of character; view from room balcony is beautifully bucolic, staff we met was polite; rooms' size and furniture were OK for the price we paid (it was off-season: €40 for a single room, €70 for the double ), room and bathroom were clean
so far so good but good news, unfortunately, stop here.
no hot water in the room (brrrrrrr, being April it was quite a cold start!) and being 7am reception was not manned and we couldn't find anybody to inform (hey, they start at 7.30),
room furniture is charming and in line with hotel's rustic theme but something less basic wouldn't hurt (flatscreen TV only exception, unfortunately that's not really important to us)
bathroom looks really old, if that was a conscious decision pleazzze let me know interior designer's name so to make sure I'll never retain the guy
hotel site says free wifi, but in our room's signal was so weak we couldn't connect. in the reception there's no signal at all. I had my own mobile private wifi device but ... place is really rural so there was no signal (not even cell phones worked, that is great if one wants to relax, not so great for everybody else).
we had to leave before 7.30am (when structure opens) and staff was so nice to have breakfast ready by 7.00am: Linzer cake was VERY good, the rest was ... in line with hotel's low-key theme
all-in-all feeling is the facility caters for holiday budget travellers who priviledge surroundings of the facility rather than its comfort and service. I was travelling for business, such a low price should have signaled what I was going to find. my mistake.
we didn't try the restaurant, so can't comment about that
