Simon Šon 21/05/2017 22:19It was wonderful. The owners are really nice and helpful. The room was very clean every day. The location is simply fantastic. Most mayor sightseeings are in walking distance. The breakfast was delicious.
Great stay, centrally located, amazing service!
Sharon Hon 18/05/2017 00:26My husband and I recently stayed here and had a great experience. Upon arrival, we were promptly and warmly greeted by Marco and Pierluigi, the brothers who run the inn. They were so kind and and genuine in welcoming us. We arrived early, before check-in time, so we had a moment to enjoy some freshly made espresso and the hosts got us oriented to the inn and the city around us. We decided to take the short walk to the Pantheon to start exploring the city while our room was prepared. When we returned a short while later, our room was ready, and we were generously upgraded to the Berger room.
The room was great- spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The Berger room also has a private entrance, which is nice. We loved touches like the complimentary bottle of wine for us to enjoy, and having our own little water cooler was really nice too. Breakfast was great, there was a nice selection of pastries, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, juices, and more great coffee :) Everything was very tasty, and the breakfast area is super cute.
The location of the B&B is great- a large reason I had chosen to stay here initially was due to how central it is to all of the sites (and all the great reviews of course). Everything we wanted to see was no more than a 20 minute walk, with many sites only 10 minutes away.
Beyond the location, comfortable rooms, and tasty breakfast, what really makes this places special is the warmth and exceptional service from the hosts. We felt very comfortable and at home here. Marco was helpful in arranging a taxi for us to the airport at the end of our stay, and though we had an early flight, he gave us vouchers to get breakfast from a local cafe that was open early, which was thoughtful. We didn't think we had enough time the morning we left to get anything, but Marco kindly waited for the driver with our bags while we ran to grab some breakfast to go.
I would highly recommend staying here while in Rome, and hope to stay here again if we return to Rome in the future.
Great location in Rom with my son!

Amazing location in Rome, at a walking distance from all most important sightseeings: piazza Navona, Trinità dei Monti, Vatican City, Colosseum and much more. You are welcomed by nice people, ready to support for any kind of needs, in a warm environment with all comforts. Visiting Rome becomes then one of the best experiences of an entire life!
Amazing guesthouse in great location!
amab2937on 02/03/2017 18:13Our stay at Locanda del Sole was absolutely perfect, Marco and Pierluigi were so welcoming and there to offer advice and help on anything we needed. The room was beautiful and very spacious, and it felt very Italian, as opposed to a bland chain hotel - and it had a large and modern bathroom. The location was great, we walked everywhere we wanted to go, and it was right in centre of everything without being too busy and loud. Would absolutely recommend!
Favorite place to stay in Rome

Everything is great - location, rooms, breakfast, WiFi. B&B located in the center of Rome, close to Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo etс. The rooms are very nice and clean. The last time we stayed here in January and it was very warm in our room (in some hotels often it is rather cold in this time of year). Breakfast is very good, but it is not main for us (although coffee is fantastic!). The main thing we love Locanda del Sole is your hosts Marco, Pierluigi and Emiliano. They are extremely helpful and welcoming. If you need you will get recommendations for museums, food, booking tickets and restaurants etс. It was a pleasure to talk with Marco about anything during the breakfast time.
Overall we always have a great time in Rome staying in this B&B.I like Italy, I like Roma, I like Locanda del Sole! I highly recommend Locanda del Sole and I hope to return here again!
