Most beautiful inn in Italy
Anne Pon 15/06/2017 03:23While I travel extensively and am very picky with respect to accommodations (aesthetically and practically), I am not a regular Trip Advisor reviewer. That said, the reason that I am writing about this inn is that I was so immensely delighted by my experience there. Simply put, the rooms, dining areas and terrace and pool are all just beautiful, the service is extraordinarily charming, kind and solicitous and the views are spectacular. The design aesthetic of the proprietors, Baker and Christian, is wonderful. Luxurious and yet simple fabrics, furnishings, surfaces and artwork. The view of the olive groves and vineyards from the inn are wonderful and the twinkling lights of San Gmignano across the valley in the evening are a gift. As a base for exploration of Tuscany or as a beautiful inn in which to relax and appreciate la dolce vita, I unequivocably recommend Locanda dell'Artista.
Now, if I can only get reservations there this December..... :)

shaker_711on 13/06/2017 17:21We recently were fortunate enough to spend a week at Locanda dell' Artista. What an amazing experience! Baker and Cristian (owners) have done a fantastic job creating a space that is warm and welcoming and we felt as though we were family during our stay. The rooms are roomy and the bed was super comfortable. The views from the property are epic and it was nice to spend one of our last days just lounging around the pool soaking them in. Highly recommended if you are in the area! We will definitely be back!

michaelsteven18on 12/06/2017 18:50Locanda dell' Artista is difficult to describe for all the right reasons but I will give it a try. Magical comes to mind but that would be selling it short. The place is impeccable with attention to every detail from the beautiful furnishings to the exquisite setting. The owners, Baker and Christian are the prefect hosts. They made sure we were always comfortable and provided excellent recommendations for seeing and tasting Tuscany. They also provided detailed driving directions to all our destinations. We had a sensational week and look forward to returning sometime soon. I give it 6 stars!!
Bucket List!
on 11/06/2017 21:16Our trip to Locanda was "Bucket List" at its best! Baker and Christian are amazing hosts, with every detail, from the beautiful Inn, amenities, restaurant, attentive service and wonderful breakfast, to the most on point directions and pointers on where to go and what to see. They and their staff, Chef Fabio, Rossella, Sara, and Paquelina..attended to every detail to make our dream visit to Tuscany everything we could have hoped for and more. We really felt that we made wonderful new friends! Put this wonderful iInn on your Bucket List.
Once in a lifetime experience!
mil038on 10/06/2017 20:56Not a detail was left unattended to. The hospitality and warmth of Baker and Christian were unsurpassed. The staff was more like family and they made you feel like you were a guest in their homes. A 5 star experience for sure, grounds, scenery, rooms and breakfast were all spectacular to say the least. Developed new friendships and will return for sure.
