Be aware of the practices at this lodge!
Chris Won 06/07/2017 01:15This lodge was recommended to us by friends and we were really looking forward to our trip to Sedona. We travel alot and have stayed at many B&B's over the years. I have never written a bad review but after what happened to us at this lodge, I felt I had to.
To start with, when we arrived, the innkeeper was very cold, no welcome, no smile, made us feel like we were putting her out to have her show us to our room. As she walked us through the lodge, she pointed out a pitcher of juice and told us that we could not have any of the juice, that was for the other guest, the wellness guest. When we went to breakfast the next morning, we were made to feel as outcast. The people who were in the dining room made comments of "oh, they are not one of us, they must be a bed & breakfast stay". Other things were very odd with our stay but the biggest issue I had with this lodge was the fact that when we got home, I checked my confirmation paperwork and saw that we did not stay in the room at the lodge that I booked. We booked the Cooper Canyon room, their nicest room and we were placed int the Moon Flower room. When I called the lodge and left messages twice, I finally received a return call and was told that they do change room assignments when they want to, when they get a longer reservation. When questioned why we were not informed when we arrived, was told that was their policy of the lodge. The room I booked was slightly higher in price per night than the room we stayed in. Honestly, the money was not the issue, the fact that they felt they had the right to just change our room without letting us know was just not right!
There are so many more beautiful places to stay in Sedona, do not stay here!!!
Wonderful Stay - Very Relaxing - Great Staff
mitzypitzy2017on 17/06/2017 00:45My husband and I had a great stay at the Lodge and in Sedona.
We found this place on a B&B site. We have stayed at many B&Bs in the past. The Lodge was nice, clean. The staff were all great and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We were able to get a couples massage in our room that we booked ahead of arriving. It was great. The location was close to some great places to eat, as well as starbucks. Natural gorcers was just up the road as well as wagreens. We really enjoyed the labyrinth. We would definitely consider coming here again when passing through Sedona.
Not even close to a B & B
lisanoodleson 15/06/2017 03:11When we arrived we were taken to our room which we booked the Prairie Suite which it shows a bright and Airy room. Also States two person jacuzzi tub and two-person shower. Apparently they meant two toddlers. This is not a bed and breakfast in the traditional sense clearly a wellness Spa and I use the term "Spa" very loosely. We only had one breakfast there on the morning of check out since we were not staying for a full breakfast my husband requested just a bowl of oatmeal which they had plenty of. We were told it was only for the Wellness Group. $350+ a night and we couldn't get a bowl of oatmeal! Everything that was put out Is only for "The Wellness Group" I agree with the earlier review of the bait and switch. some seriously false advertising on their website. rude staff as well.
Bait and switch. Offered what they did not have
Thomas Lon 12/06/2017 02:15Bait and switch. Offered what they did not have, and even calling to confirm, the services were not offered when we arrived. The sauna was not available at night or early morning and during the day the yurt it was in was unbearably hot. At least the staff was unfriendly.
Nice property....
Kelli Yon 03/05/2017 19:00The property was really nice, peaceful and in a convenient location. The breakfast, which is included, is wonderful! I do have to say though...they apparently have groups that stay there as a wellness retreat and we felt kind of like the 'redheaded stepchild' for not being in that group! When we first checked in it was very odd. There is no 'front desk' to check in at and we were somewhat confused. All in all though, we would stay there again. Our room, Copper Canyon, felt like it's own little cabin and was very relaxing.
