What People are saying

A day well spent at Lohagarh resort

Richa Son 20/08/2017 14:42

Lohagarh resort is a green forest resort on outskirts of Jaipur near Kookas. It's a nice place with trees, water bodies, birds, rabbits and ducks. They have a swimming pool and a restaurant. Food is good, though you will not find a lot of variety but whatever they have will taste good. the swimming pool is awesome with rains and a bridge. It's a nice place to spend your day with family. A day package would include lunch and high tea.

Treat for nature lovers

The place is a perfect weekend get away close to nature, away from noise and pollution.. Went there with family last weekend.. The resort is awesome.. Had a very nice, relaxed and rejuvenating holiday..
The beautiful and natural surroundings are the highlight of this resort.. Lot of indoor and outdoor activities available for kids as well as adults.. The pool is also well maintined unlike most of the resorts.

Food is
good and we dint feel like going outside specially for meals.. The traditional food items are tasty.

The staff is very polite and Co operative. Room service is quick. Initially there was some problem with our room and we communicated the same to the GM. He was very polite and immediately solved the issue and provided us with another room..

My whole family liked the place a lot. Nice resort to get rid of daily office and busy routine.. Will definitely visit again some time.

Perfect for nature lovers

Pros:

1. The food is awesome. Loved all the meals. Except for the Chinese we ordered in our room. Skip Chinese.
2. The service is amazing. The staff is very helpful, and goes out of the way to make your stay memorable.
3. Lot's of outdoor activities. Also, even if you just want to stroll, enjoy the nature, disconnect from the urban life, you can do that. Just apply lots of mosquito repellent.
4. Kids will love it - with lots of outdoor places, water bodies, pets - ducks, white pigeons, rabbits etc., Artificial rain, swings, and of course the pool.
5. The pool is awesome, with its caves, and waterfalls, and fake rain. My whole family spent hours in it.

Cons:

1. We booked the room with a private pool. Well, it's hardly a pool. It's a tiled pond. It's good to dip in and have a drink. But it's incline is very steep, and it has no steps or rails for support. Was wishing I had just booked the room with Jacuzzi.
2. The gym is no gym. It has lots of weights kept in a party hall. No cardio equipment to talk of - except for a lousy hybrid of cycle and elliptical. Some of the equipment was broken.
3. The bed in our room had a stone headboard. Like, are you waiting for an accident to happen? And I was visiting with my 2 year old, so was on alert all the time while we were in the room.
4. The TV in our room was touching the ceiling. The only way to watch it was to lie down straight on the bed.
5. The bathrooms hardly justified the "luxury" tag of the hotel. The towels were old, worn out, discoloured. The skincare stuff was local and ordinary.
6. No safety tubes for kids in the swimming pool.

Will I recommend this place to others - yes.

Will I visit again - may be

The experience of ultimate luxury

Location wise this place is perfect weekend gateway from Delhi. It took approximately 4.5 hrs. to reach to the resort from Delhi. The resort is located in the mid of small jungle so you will experience some nice green surroundings. The cottage we stayed had a plunge pool and a backyard garden....Me and my wife had received ultimate luxury during our stay there in the resort. The cottage was well maintained, luxury one. There are lot of activities to do inside the resort itself, so we didnt even bother to go out during our stay. There was facilities of cycling, badminton, shooting, pool, carom and many more...They even organize magic shows with the evening tea. The food was good. We enjoyed the traditional Rajasthani meal there .Apart from the plunge pool, they have one swimming pool with artificial waterfall. I specially enjoyed my swim in that pool, surrounded by trees. The behavior of the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room service was good, faster and efficient than most of the star hotels. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to visit.

As romantic as romantic can be!

Our search for a weekend getaway led us to this beautiful resort. The property is not huge like the Neemrana fort resort but it is gorgeous (and pet friendly).
The pool- loved the natural pool with rugged edges and a waterfall. It's just 5ft deep so it's perfect for people who just want to chill in the water. They have tree branches shading the pool giving it a wonderful touch (not to mention the chill beer they served).one of the best pools I've been to!
The tents- we stayed in their Swiss tents. They are pretty huge, secluded and each one has its own private entrance. There is a big French window in the room that makes the experience great. Now coming to the superb jacuzzi experience.the jacuzzi is decent sized, can easily fit two people and the jets work perfectly. The bathroom too has French windows looking into the room and the garden outside.
Good- food was decently priced and a few things were made well. Nothing extraordinary.
The biggest plus is that it is pet friendly and our pooch and us were one happy family here!!
