In need of a thorough update
chankaryauon 04/11/2017 02:49Selected this hotel despite it's slightly higher price because of the free parking and public bath. To our surprise the parking has to be off site as our car was too big to fit into its multi level car park. The public bath required an extra charge of 700 yen per person!
Other than this, the hotel is dated and there is heavy signs of wear and tear. The hotel housekeeping fails to catch up the with the ageing feel with cleaning.
Midnight; the air conditioning became too warm and there is no way to adjust the temperature, the bed was old and lacks support.
Overall it wasn't a pleasant stay and there are much better options within the price range in Asahikawa.
Small rooms
walter fon 22/10/2017 19:08Comfortable. Most amenities but no bar - thankfully you can buy across the street. Great Japanese toilet seats which wash your butt with warm water. Good value. Situated near lots of good attractions but a suburban like neighborhood. Free WiFi which is fast. Good service, very good cleanliness .
Smart and comfortable
GeoffCh2015on 21/09/2017 11:03A last minute booking at a bargain price. Large and smart entrance, large (by Japanese standards) room, quiet. The minor downside is it's 10-15 minutes walk from the station. On the other hand it's convenient for kaimonokoen and yojou restaurants.
average stay
on 02/09/2017 03:38the hotel is a bit far from JR station so don't recommend people to walk there. the hotel provides shuttle bus to the station a few times in the morning but reservation is required. on departure, the bus left without us despite we had made a reservation and turned up to the reception on time. we were informed we had to make our own arrangement to the station! we complained to a few staff and finally they called the bus back. the hotel room is average
Great restaurant and gym
Tom Hon 11/08/2017 23:44This hotel was quite nice. Decent rooms, great staff, nice gym (for a fee) and easy parking across the street. But the real star of the show was the buffet on the top floor. Excellent japanese and western food galore. There's also a Japanese style BBQ restaurant/beer garden on the bottom floor, however we didn't actually check it out. Looked good though! I'd stay here again just for that buffet
