We stayed here for 2 nights, I’ll start with the positives:
- Very close to Earl’s Court Station
- Comfy bed
- Relatively cheap

Now for the reality:
- The room stank of cigarettes from the minute we walked in to the minute we left (we were there for 2 nights and don’t smoke)
- We booked a Superior double - I dread to think what a normal double room is like because this was tiny, there was no space to move at all!
- The hotel is quite run down and smells weird throughout
- Walls are very thin so we could hear EVERYTHING that the people next door were doing

Next time we go to London, we will pay that bit extra to stay somewhere better.

Really lovely staff and fab location to tube!!

Staff were so pleasant and friendly!! Double Room was comfy, clean and felt very homely!! Extremely close to Earls Court station so with the tube at your door London is yours to explore!

Yes the rooms are not massive but you're in London - you aren't going to be in there long and while I was in there I had zero complaints!!

Thanks for the pleasant stay!

We stayed here for our London trip. Clean bed and nice shower. Friendly staff who managed to check us in early. 2 minute walk from the station, so perfect for us to get around London. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Tiny...Won't Return

This review is a lesson – even veteran tripadvisor users can make mistakes. I booked this hotel trying to save a bit of money without checking the reviews...yikes! It is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The professional photos viewed online are very, very misleading. Please note that the hotel’s name has been changed to Dreamtel London Kensington.

The room was tiny. The entry "hall" was about 4 ½ x 5 ½ ft and the bedroom was about 7 ft. x 9 ft. So, not counting the bathroom, and adding a little to my estimated dimensions, the total living area was about 90-95 sq. ft. or so. Placed within that space was a closet in the hall with a footprint of about 1 x 3 ft (useless to store luggage); a vanity table about 1.5 x 2.5 ft and a double bed. Most of the open space was in the hall. The double bed sat on a platform so that the space beneath it could not be used for suitcases. Luckily we travel light and our two small suitcases could be stacked under the vanity desk but that left the vanity difficult to use (along with the fact that to use it required sitting on the end of the bed since there was no room for a chair). We left our roller equipped carry-on in the hall to take up valuable space. This room was so small we had to tell each other where we were going so that we could manoeuvre around. The space between the bed and the window wall was about 8 or so inches wide and was totally useless for getting into, or out of, bed. The flat screen TV was barely adequate; it’s difficult to believe that so few channels were available and of those a couple were snowy (do they use an antenna?). Wifi worked fine but, yes, only in the lobby (more like a four-chair waiting room).

The bathroom was just slightly better in terms of size (about 4 x 5 ft not counting the standard sized tub). But no towel racks; just two short, round chrome towel hangars on the inside-top of the door. One was loose and twirled around when a towel was draped on it so that the towel fell to the floor; totally useless. The large bath towels could not be hung on the other, matching hangar because it was so poorly designed that the heavy towels simply slid off (the towels come folded and stacked on a wire shelf over the foot of the tub). There was no shower curtain, just a narrow piece of glass from the tub edge up to about 3 inches from the ceiling. If it wasn’t for the fact that the shower’s water pressure was so extremely bad the floor would have been flooded. Even with the poor pressure, the glass partition couldn’t prevent a large puddle from forming on the floor (strangely, the pressure in the sink faucet was just fine). Have I yet mentioned the stained shower ceiling?

There were a couple of “good” or “okay” things including a pretty good location in Kensington. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked just fine. We were on the top floor and although we could hear the tube trains the sound was faint and not an issue for us. Finally, the breakfast room was large enough but certainly just basic and nothing special. The small selection of food offered for breakfast ranged from okay to good (there was yogurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, potatoes, croissants, pastries, toast, spreads, orange and apple juice, coffee, milk, etc).

The staff were pleasant and polite with us but not overly engaging. This hotel needs a total make-over. We’ll never be back.

Terrible stay! Friendly staff

Check in: We didnt get any information about hotel. I had to ask where & what time will be breakfast and other stuff.
Hotel: old, small, dirty, noisy, children unfriendly

Positive: lift

YOU CANNOT SLEEP IN THIS HOTEL - terrible noise of underground...

We have been moved from basement to first floor after I had the worst night ever, but it didn't make biggest different.
You just can listen every 10 min. The tube.
Didn't pay to have a experience of sleeping in train!!!!!!!!!

I understand it isn't 5* hotel, but it wasn't clean even for 1* (dusty, behind bed and under disgusting...) my daughter's clothes was absolutely dirty after staying there! She even didn't get dirty so much outside like in the hotel ;(

Children unfriendly hotel but staff was lovely! No travel cots, no highchair...

I don't want to spend so much money for hotels in London as we are always all day away but this was the worst hotel from 3 * what we have been in!!!! We travel a lot to London and try to stay in different hotels for change and experience for my work!

I was Lovely surprised! Really nice various choices of breakfast. From fresh fruit, ham, cheese, salami, yogurts, actimel, sweet pastry, jams, honey to nice warm buffet! Everyone can find their favourites!

I am giving 2 out of 5 for breakfast and lovely stuff! Thank you to breakfast lady (Wednesday 13.9.) she played a bit with our daughter and we could have a minute break and finish our teas as there wasn't highchair, so our breakfast was nightmare.
Thank you to a new night lad who try to help as much as possible!

Shame, shame for the money which I paid!
Definitely they don't know what means word: superior 🙈
