The breakfast is absolutely great. Very friendly owners and the bedroom has all you need. Communication was very good when booking for the room. Very close and central to the locations we want to visit.

As usual a reliable wonderful stay, clean, lovely breakfast, and Viv and Steve can't do enough for you..And if you like to leave your car and use the bus to sight see, the stop is practically outside. Terry

I stayed 3 nights to attend an event in York and I wanted peace and quiet during the night, rather than staying in the city. I slept extremely well in the comfortable bed. The room was spacious and well-appointed; the shower was great. The whole house is bright and welcoming; the use of a separate lounge was welcome and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - various options are available so I rang the changes a little but had the superb scrambled eggs every day. There was always more tea than I could shake a stick at, in a large teapot and at a strength I liked. Had it not been for TripAdvisor I might have overlooked this gem. The price was fantastic!
Lovely B and B with excellent standards

Stayed here for one night with friend to attend workshop in the area. Very comfortable, well appointed and excellent service. Toiletries in bedroom lovely touch, nothing to fault. Owners very friendly and nothing too much trouble
A truly lovely B&B

This B&B is a little gem! Hidden away in the village of Riccall, it's nicely placed to visit York, Selby and the surrounding countryside. Viv and Steve Sharp (The owners) are very welcoming. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast all freshly cooked and to finish off you can choose from their award winning jams and marmalade! What could be a nicer way to start your day. We have visited here twice now and shall be back again soon. It's also great value for money.
