Beautiful house and great weekend stay
Lucy Ron 03/02/2016 15:01Our first thoughts when we arrived at Longworth Villa were 'WOW'. The house was absolutely stunning. Really spacious rooms and beautifully decorated. The open kitchen and dining room creates a really sociable area, great for large groups. The whole house was incredibly clean, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels provided (essential for the hot tub!). I spoke with Deryck on plenty of occassions before our stay and he was always very quick to come back to me. He even let us in before our check-in time to drop off bags and give us a quick tour - he was very accommodating. Our deposit was returned to us immediately as well. All in all, I couldn't fault Deryck or his lovely house. I have a feeling we may be back...
Perfect hen weekend stay!
ElisaL-H27on 24/06/2015 15:03Just had my surprise hen weekend here and what a fabulous place it was!!! A big group of us had it all to ourselves and it was so lovely and luxurious! Absolutely perfect! (Except for the stinky drains...) The rooms were spacious, great size dining room, lovely kitchen, lovely decor, fantastic hot tub and garden! Brilliant. Highly recommend it. It made for a perfect hen weekend!
Perfect stay!
FrenadianKaton 27/04/2014 18:08We rented the villa for a girly weekend. It was close to the station and the town centre. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The outside jacuzzi was a bliss. The owners were delightful. Completely recommend this place.
Very pleasant stay
Lynda Eon 23/11/2013 11:57We had planned a three night break in Cheltenham and wanted a B & B which had parking and was close to the town centre. Longworth Villa fitted the bill. There was plenty of room for parking and the Montpellier district was only a 10 minute walk away, and the town centre a further 10 minute stroll. We received a friendly greeting on arrival (by name) and were shown to our room. We were offered fresh milk (in a thermos flask) in addition to the usual UHT variety. The room was large, full of character (stripped floorbords, high ceiling, nice fireplace) - and well furnished. The quirky ensuite bathroom was down a short flight of steps, had a large corner bath with a shower over.
The breakfast was excellent - fruit juice, cereals, fresh fruit, and a full English. The fried breakfast was large, not greasy and freshly cooked.
We had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly use this B & B again.
Quality accommodation in convenient location
ColinAitchon 09/09/2013 19:04Lovely room in stunning house, wonderfully located within an easy walk of the town centre. Jane and Deryk are friendly, polite and very helpful. We had two stays there in early September and are so pleased we chose Longworth Villa. It suited us beautifully. If you've got this far, look no further - just book it. You will NOT be disappointed.
