Good Resort at a Nice Location in Silvvassa

The Lords Resort is part of the well-known Lords Group of Hotels with about 30 odd properties all over India. It is a nice Hotel situated at Naroli, which is just as you are entering Silvassa from the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway, so location wise it is very good, since the area is calm and quiet. It is located in a small lane off the Main Road leading to Silvassa and is well sign posted, so no issues with finding it. The Resort is a Ground plus One Structure with 76 Rooms. Although they have different types of rooms depending on whether they are facing the Swimming Pool or Garden, etc, all the rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, have comfortable beds/mattress/pillows/linen etc, LCD TV with Satellite Cable, Mini Fridge, Electric Kettle with Tea/Coffee/Sugar Sachets, Writing Desk, Dressing Table with Mirror & a Cupboard. There is however no Safe in the Room & the Mini Fridge does not have a Freezer, so no Ice there. The attached Bath/Toilet is also spacious & has running Hot/Cold Water and a few Toiletries as well. The rooms are made up daily & 2x500 ml Drinking Water Bottles are also provided every day, which is good. It is a sprawling Property with huge lawns, a large Parking area & a nice Children's Play Area too. They also have a nice Swimming Pool, Bar & an in-house Restaurant where a Buffet Breakfast is served daily, the cost of which is included in the room rate, which is nice. The Breakfast Buffet has a large spread & the food is tasty. However the only Non Veg Breakfast item in the Buffet is Eggs - any style. There are however ample Non Veg A La Carte options for Lunch & Dinner in the restaurant. The Bar service is also good & the food is tasty as well. The staff are well trained & helpful and the service is good too. Room Service is available & is very prompt as well. They also have their own in-house maintenance staff to attend to any minor issues that may crop up during your stay & this is very useful. The rates are quite reasonable and the staff really make you feel comfortable. A good place to stay at whenever you visit Silvassa, particularly if you want to be away from the humdrum of the main city area.

this place was suggested by my friend and when i visit this place found good, food was tasty, place was clean, pool was good.I stay here for 4 to 5 hrs first time.We had a great time here with family and my kids really like this place.

Best area hotel is average

We were there for 2 nights.
This hotel is in center, you can easily go to Silvassa, Vapi and other places.

Breakfast is good.

Room service is quite poor, also other facilities such as indoor games, Gym is not maintained

They are having different rooms like standard, grace, and all... They are making fool in that... We were in Grace room.

Unbearably Dirty Rooms

The hotel has become really bad lately. I stay here regularly and this time even in the higher category room was pathetic. The sheets and duvet were stained and has not been changed for a few days. Even when I called for fresh ones, they still were noynuo to mark and one could feel the staleness. The bathroom stank and I had to call the housekeeping twice to sort it out. Even then it didn't feel santiised.

I have stayed here for atleast 30 nights in the past 2 years and I doubt I will come back to it purely because of its cleanliness standards dropping.

Over Priced, Pathetic service

We were 4 couples and 3 kids and booked hotel for 2 nights.
1. Time we checked in we started facing problems relating to service. There was no one to carry our luggage to the rooms and we had to carry the luggage on our own.
2. At the restaurant service is even more pathetic. It takes almost one hour for serving an order. Also serving roti takes more than half n hr. Veg biriyani ordered had no taste at all and even after complaining they served same biriyani after another half n hr. We almost fed up of waiting so much for food and most of the people left without eating. With such exorbitant prices, quality and service is not at all acceptable.
3. At the pool, stairs are broken and you find it risky when you come out of the pool. Also pool towels were not available. Even after requesting, we waited for half n hr but no one came with the towels. It seems like no one is interested in serving their guests.
4. Housekeeping is also not upto the mark. Toilets has not been washed during 3 days of our stay. There was no doormat out side bathroom and entire room gets wet whenever you use bathroom.
5. Room service has been worst. Thing we order in room came after an hour that too very cold. For a water bottle you have to beg for 2 to 3 times and the same is dilivered to you after 2 hours.

Overall rooms are quite big and property is nice. However, hotel needs to improve a lot on maintainance and service.
