Rediscovering Loreland 5 years after!

It felt nostalgic to be back in Loreland after 5 years. It wasn’t the same the last time my family and I visited – it looked way better! I saw a lot of improvements, especially with the walls and paint of their accommodations (we stayed in Rest House 1 & 2 before). Even the foundation of the slides looked more solid. I also appreciated the fact that all of their swimming pools were clean and clear. Even the food at Verde Restaurante tasted just as good. I’m glad that I got to rediscover Loreland with friends this time.

The promo page of Loreland's website mislead us to think that the rates quoted on the 12-hour rooms promo package apply on weekends. When I called to reserve the Loreland Villa, I was informed that the rates quoted are only for weekdays and only for walk-ins. I was about to find another resort for my clan if it were not for the competent handling of the situation by Lav, the duty manager. She explained that the 12-hour promo applies a 40% discount on published rates for selected rooms, and this discount can also be applied to weekend rates. Realising the inadequacy of their website, she offered to block 3 different rooms for us to choose from when we get there (also because it's not peak season anymore). Because Lav and her staff were friendly and accommodating, our clan ended up staying overnight and booking 4 different rooms. Kudos to Lav, the duty manager, who knows how to handle situations well.

after attending mass at antipolo, we headed for Loreland Farm resort, the entrance is a little bit higher for a standard resort, after briefing and some instructions from the front desk, no one assisted us where our reserved cottage is located, some staff are just finger pointing where to go.no one seems to guide us, because the place is full of trees and no clear signs. the place is divided in many pool areas, the designated cottage we reserved is too steep downhill for an elderly person. the pool is small, the slide is not working, the smell of chlorine is too strong, and the worst part you'll have to swim up to 5 pm only, they don't care if you go there late in the afternoon, they will allow swimming till 5 pm only. be sure to bring some wax paper or aluminum foil to cover your food, because in a couple of hours you will be disgusted for there are so many flies hundreds or thousands maybe, flying around the food in the table...its a nice experience with the family , but will never comeback again he he he .

We had a outing together with my college colleagues and we have a great time enjoying the pool also the view of the nature it is different than the last time that the resort has too many guest that we not even enjoyed dipping in the pool.

I have been here a couple of times already. Both for leisure and for business. The resort is very spacious. Has a lot of pools. Location is near its competitor Bosay. Rates are acceptable with the amenities. Some pools are not clean due to bugs and leaves from the trees around the vicinity. All in all this is a good place to swim and have a drink with friends or colleagues.
