Loved this quaint oasis in a lovely town
SunSeekerMAon 02/08/2017 21:50We recently stayed for two nights at this hotel while traveling in El Salvador. If you are considering traveling to El Salvador this town is a good choice to be fairly centrally located in a nice safe town with an artistic vibe and a vibrant history. The hotel is situated just off the main square and walk-able to several restaurants, shops and bars. Our room was in a colonial style with local art work on the walls. The front desk and bar staff were lovely. We ate in the restaurant one night and had breakfast included and it was all wonderful. I would suggest the "typical" meal for both. We had a chance to chat with one of the owners at check out and wished we had known up front that the have a beachfront property along the coast as well. You will feel safe and warmly welcomed in this 8 room hotel.
As an aside - we used Gringo Tours out of Suchotito to arrange our guide and driver for our entire stay. I highly recommend anyone traveling here do the same. It is not wise to travel alone without a driver/guide.
Just stopped by for the restaurant and wish we would've stayed

Really nice to meet Lorenzo
Gricperon 06/05/2017 10:53Stayed here for two nights as part of a group tour. Slightly quirky hotel but lovely to meet the owners and the dog 'Lorenzo'. The rooms are nice and well equipped although the ones in the courtyard can be a little public. The bar, breakfast and restaurant are all extremely good and the service impeccable.

Might be the best hotel in El Salvador

The atmosphere of the hotel is simply amazing. The grounds have character and everything is well manicured and clean. The pool and area itself are worth the stay. The only complaint be the lack of loungers. In the evening, there are mini-lights to give the grounds a romantic feel.
The service is superb. All the staff that we dealt with were friendly and they spoke English as well.
The rooms are clean, beds are cozy and the temperature can be regulated to your preference.
We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and found the food to be of good quality although perhaps a bit on the pricey side.
Overall, we highly recommend to stay here even if you don't have any interest in Sushitoto itself. The hotel is pet friendly as well.
