Great experience at loukas pansion! A room for three people on the first floor with a private toilet cost 1210 euro, booked in advance in April. The hotel is 300meters far from Chora and in particular from Fabrika bus station from where you can catch the bus and reach the famous beaches of Paradise, SuperParadise, Ornos, Platia Gialos, Paranga etc. However, it may be not the best option if you suffer from motor skill problems. Actually you should go through a steep street to reach the hotel.
The manager of the hotel is friendly and nice. He gave us good advice about Mykonos-what to explore in depth and what was around!thank u so much Stefanos!It was a pleasure to meet u :)
So the location deserves five points. However as far as it concerns the room I can assign three points because of the toilet. When you have a shower the floor will flood. You need to carry your own bath foam, as well as your toothpaste, your shampoo and your hairdryer if you have long hair otherwise if you have short hair you can use the one provided. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed each two days. There's also a terrace from which the view is breathtaking. You can safekeep your luggage for free on the ground floor. If you need an airport transfer it's fifteen euro, the same price of the taxi. But with Stefanos the transfer will be funnier :)

Rough, very basic, not good value

Really difficult to find from the old port, owner did not send directions and google maps located it in the wrong place. Room cramped, decoration non existent/very basic, bed the usual rock hard mattress, nasty pillow, horrid shower room. Glad to be staying only 1 night. No reception, managed via whatsapp

The room is absolutely overpriced. We booked a similar room in a similar pension for 110. Loukas has it for 165 euros. The toilet's pigalle was broken, there was no drainage in the shower. Finally a mold smell accompanied us during our stay. The balcony was the only good part of our stay.

Good value for money in an expensive place

Even though the single bedroom i rented was really small, it had all the amenities and was not expensive considering how Mykonos can be expensive. The only issue is that it is not a steep hill ... need to be in good shape to hike it up once or twice a day ... overall, not bad!

Spent 5 nights here and it was great! The location is fantastic, only a short walk to Mykonos Town and a main bus station which has buses heading to most of the island. Be warned though, the Pension is located on top of a very steep hill which can make the walk into and back from Town quite tiring. However, naturally depending on your age and physical capabilities, it is manageable. We had a balcony facing the ocean and it was gorgeous!! The room was small but clean. It doesn't have your typical reception area but the owners / the people who worked there were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
