AFJ_Londonon 18/06/2017 21:08Lovely hotel in an incredibly pretty setting. We had a lovely stroll around the village and church in the afternoon and after dinner. The rooms were pretty and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. We did the Spring package which included a glass of champagne and the tasting menu - which was excellent, lots of interesting new flavours. Staff at dinner were knowledgeable and very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Even better than before
Douglas Yon 12/06/2017 11:41This was our third stay at The Slaughters and the first time we stayed in the coach house. The room (Elm) was spacious, beautifully designed and decorated and very quiet.
Breakfast and dinner were as we remembered and enjoyed greatly. However, the reason we return time and again is the quality of the staff at every level.
Sometimes, when you revisit a place you do not find it to be how you remember. This is not so in this case. The slaughters remains for us a real haven of tranquility where you are able to unwind in style and comfort.

Simon Bon 10/06/2017 13:23Amazing hotel, fabulous food, warm welcoming staff and a fabulous 10th wedding anniversary! Love this place and wouldn't hesitate to return! My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time here.
Lovely rooms and surroundings but hot in warm weather
olderfemaletraveleron 07/06/2017 01:02Too bad they have no A/C and even worse - most windows do not open We had a lovely room with a great view of grounds, but were uncomfortable during the day in the room. There were plenty of windows and we could have had a great cross breeze, but they didn't open. We planned to dine at the restaurant, but it was also too hot so we ate outside and chose from the bar menu. Across the street, the Country House also owned by the same property, had a cool restaurant so we ate there one night. If it is not hot, I would certainly stay again!
