Went may 17 with hubby cheap n cheerful week in sun , so was opened minded after reading reviews!!
Hotel was ok , not a lot going on day or evening as would have like so felt needed to go out more than normal in evening .
a lot of stag party's during our stay all friendly enough .
Food wasn't the best and is much need for improvement!!!!! I leave it at that !
Pool basic.bedroom ok nice pool view
Did hear lots of complaints and negativity towards everything with in the hotel as a hotel tryed to be positive in answers but was draining as everybody we spoke to had a moan of sumsort during our stay 🙈Overall not a 4*but Portugal is a lovely place

Me and my friend have just came back from these apartments, and to be honest you get what you pay for, yes they need upgrading, but on the whole it was clean plenty of hot water, cleaners in every day, lovely friendly staff, the pool wasn't filthy at all or we wouldn't have got in it, but we only got two of everything , there was a toaster kettle two ring hob, and a microwave and fridge, and our room was facing the pool, which was great, there is also a big shopping precinct with a big supermarket at the end of the road which was good for your shopping, and food halls which are reasonable,the little train stops outside the brisa sol hotel and the supermarket is just a bit further up from there, the only thing we didn't like we're the stag parties, very noisy, but we were told this morning that they weren't accepting them anymore,which is good, don't be put off

Our room was adjacent to bar on the 2nd floor (room 205). The room was clean, spacious and fully serviceable.

We were a party of 8 taking 4 rooms within the hotel on an all-inclusive basis. Upon arrival we were given a warm, friendly welcome by the young male receptionist.

After unpacking we all met at the bar to discuss our booking in experiences -
Couple 1 (us) - our room was ready, clean and fully functioning.
Couple 2 - returned to reception because the room had not been prepared (beds not changed, etc.), changed rooms.
Couple 3 - non functioning Fridge, toilet and shower, too 5 days to sort out.
Couple 4 - room was ready, clean and missing some tea making items.

Food in the hotel 'restaurant' was basic and not very appetising - at anytime.
All inclusive bar service was limited, confusing and challenging when trying to order any spirits.
Throughout the week we had 2 bar staff undertaking the evening duties, 1 tried to act like a bar man and one named Pedro had definitely not been given any guest courtesy training be cause he was downright rude and should never be holding this position.

The receptionists and the lady who manages the restaurant and bar are extremely pleasant and very hard working.

However, in summary, this hotel can NEVER be considered to be 4****, definitely NOT an All Inclusive luxury venue.

We NEVER ate in the hotel at all.

Terrible place to stay. The food was awful. We were all inclusive but had to eat out a lot. Drinks weren't all inclusive really. No spirits before 2pm which wasn't a problem but none between 7 and 9pm was. Which meant you only had an hour before it finished at 10pm. Total rip off. Staff were friendly apart from one barman (not Pedro) who spent most of his time on his phone while we waisted what little time we had to drink all inclusive. Don't even think of taking kids there's sod all for them to do. Really disgusted.

If you are thinking about booking this hotel, then don't. This hotel is not 4 stars, it's filthy, worn out facilities, rooms are in desperate updating, they smell, bedding does not smell clean. Clientele is more rowdy and definitely not for families or elderly. Pool was dirty and you could not swim in it, beer bottles and cups were dumped around the hotel and grounds. Not enough staff.
