Had a great week at the mareva, yannis was a great host, very friendly and helpful apartments are typical Greek in a good location 10 min walk down hill to the lively hersonissos or 10 min walk up hill to the more traditional Greek koutouloufari, which is quaint with lots of restaurants,would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

2nd visit and can't wait for the 3rd

As the title says this was our second visit to Mareva and it was just as perfect as the first! Yiannis and family treat you as one of their own and literally bend over backwards to make you feel welcome. Rooms are basic but have everything you need and are always clean and comfortable. If you're trying to decide on somewhere to stay in this area then you would be silly to choose anywhere else as you're slap bang in the middle of the traditional village of koutoufari and the small town of Hersonissos both have excellent restaurants and bars. Thanks Yiannis and family once again for an amazing holiday and will definitely be seeing you again!

Staff couldnt be better and very clean lovely apartments.

The staff were there to help with any issue we had, even if they were silly issues, they were very attentive and fair. The price for aircon is £7 a night, this is definitely recommended because it works excellently.
Your key is attached to a keycard which provided electricity for the apartment, this is useful because it ensures you haven't left anything running.
The apartment is very clean and the sheets are changed twice a week, the towels are also changed twice a week so I would recommend bringing another two towels.
The apartment is basic but is quirky and I wouldn't change anything about it. The shower is a bit small but is adequate. Definitely recommend!
Only 10 minute walk from beach. Walking to star beach is about 20 minutes but is a lovely beach with slides.

Basic but clean apartments, nice pool area where there is always a lounger available, reasonably priced bar and food. Towels and bedding changed throughout the week, had to pay 49 euro for air con but was worth every penny, room cooled down very quickly,

Yainis and areti are both lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming.

Hotel is in a fab location, you can go up the hill ( does get a little bit steep ) for the old town or down the hill towards the new town, each can be reached in less than 10 mins.

All in all would highly recommend this family run hotel, didn't want to come home

Wow sat here waiting for my transfer and I'm gutted to leave! From the moment we arrived at 01:30 yianis has greeted us by name and can't do enough to make your holiday perfect for you, in fact all his family have Areti looked after us everyday thanks so much.
The bar is brilliantly priced for beers and has a limited but good choice menu for day time.
Thank you for an excellent stay and becoming good friends❤️
The rooms are basic as In all Greece but does the job perfectly we will be back for sure
