We have been traveling the USA for almost 2 months, and of all the motels/inns we have stayed in at this price range, Candlewood has offered the very best amenities and accommodation so far.
A fully equipped kitchenette and spacious CLEAN room at this price has been unheard of this far, so it was fantastic to finally find this on our trip at Candlewood.
What's not provided for in the room is available on loan - from toasting irons, to juice makers, to board games. The snack room downstairs to purchase chips, drinks, sweets, fruits, breakfast items is also so convenient and well thought off, and again so reasonably priced.
Staff was friendly.
And so happy with the cleanliness.
Location was also very convenient to access restaurants and supermarkets.

We stayed over a long holiday weekend. The hotel is a bit older but was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful with advice and recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. I'd stay here again.

Quick business trip

Back in Louisiana again! A quick stay over found the room nice, clean and comfortable. Some new faces at the front desk but they were very pleasant. The little store they have on site was nicely stocked with some of my favorite ice cream. Very welcoming!

I expected more from Candlewood Suites.

The welcoming staff was friendly, and the room was clean. However, the door's deadbolt did not align with the hole in the door frame and would not lock. Surely, this had been an ongoing issue. The refrigerator in the room made a grinding noise every so often that was annoying. The ice maker was not on, so that wasn't the issue. Again, this had to have been an ongoing issue. In fairness to the desk staff, we did not asked to be moved.

disturbingly poor service and just nasty

no icemakers in hotel. you have to turn it on in your refrig. might take 3 hrs to make 6 cubes. Blowdryers don't work. Staff will tell you lies and lies on top of that. GM says you get full refund. owner says you get 0, after you have left and are 800 miles away.
did I mentioni the BLACK MOLD on bathroom ceilings? no wonder it smells moldy
