Great Stay
Jacklin5460on 11/07/2017 12:03Arrived late afternoon to a warm welcome from both the receptionists on duty. Our room was spacious and clean.
We were staying to attend a wedding in a nearby venue so we booked a package which included dinner on the first night.The staff in the restaurant were brilliant. Very attentive and chatty but not in a way that it disturbed your meal.
Breakfast was buffet and was good standard.
Only thing that I would point out is the carpark instructions. It would be good to have known in advance that you can drive straight into the carpark (across the street from the hotel in an old school building ) and you only need the code from reception when you need to access your car. Also it would have been good to know that the code to access the carpark changes daily.. Small point but would have been helpful.. Otherwise would recommend..
Good choice
colin mon 10/07/2017 22:29Very friendly, excellent accommodation and only a 5min walk from Glasgow Central train station and the centre of town, where you will find lots of fabulous bars and restaurants full of funny glaswegians and tourists enjoying the craik.
Festival stay
matthewsanderson1703on 10/07/2017 17:46Me and my brother stayed here for a festival and we had a lovely stay the staff were welcoming, the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable and it was reasonably priced! Will definitely stay here in the future!
Great location
islandoflewison 10/07/2017 07:31Good quality hotel with good spa facilities and helpful staff. Will be back. Location was excellent managed to walk everywhere we wanted. Room was clean and traditionally set out. Warm and comfortable.

Booked on booking.com on drive up doing little research by the twit that booked the rooms and hit the first yes key on his mobile.
As soon as we got there we knew it was a mistake.
Parking for a decent car was not on the premises as promised but across the road in a fenced compound and a daily charge.
Reception smelt strongly of Chlorine on arrival.
Couldn't move in reception due to the luggage from a coach trip arriving.
Went to bar to get out of the way and both beers we wanted were OFF until "later"?
Rooms are tired with worn furniture but will add they were very clean.
You cannot open the hotel room windows which is extremely annoying when you are sharing with a mate who has plans on a curry that evening!
The bathrooms have no ventilation so use the shower and you create your own private steam room, very 5* but not really what we wanted (remember you cannot open the windows either)
Breakfast was not brilliant and was standard buffet fair so we ate elsewhere after leaving.
Staff I must add were very friendly.
You get what you pay for I suppose and the twit had got a good "deal" but he wont be booking our hotels in future and we have put his phone where the sun don't shine!
