Amazing Hotel,Highly recommended!

Me and my wife stayed here for 6 days.The hotel is of the highest standard and the views are stunning!
The staff were really friendly and very efficient specially Iwana she was amazing, She welcomed us warmly, throughout our stay she helped us with everything. she explained to us about the place and where it is recommended to visit and what to do.She is really professional and her smile added another spark to our vacation, we will not forget George and Elvis too. Our room was superb, luxurious and clean. Food also great!
One of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had. If we will be back to Crete just for this hotel.Highly recommended!

We had an amazing week here, the staff were superb and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was compact but beautiful and we would thoroughly recommend having a room with a pool it made our holiday! Take a walk to Plaka and get the boat to Spinalonga, we had lunch in Plaka which was lovely. The hotels private transfers are are fantastic way to start and end your holiday.

Well it was a quite short stay used for overnight purposes visiting friends in Plaka.
The hotel is very clean. Very well designed rooms. Amazing view to the Mirambelos gulf. The beach is very organised, providing anything you can ask for by the very polite and friendly staff.
In terms of the breakfast, very nice and tasty, well prepared by the chef and sous chefs . As well the staff very polite and there to help you and serve you to whatever you need.
I don't see anything else to ask for.
A definetely come back for more days and relaxation.

Fantastic hotel

We visited the Marmin bay boutique hotel for 14 nights in Aug 2017 and have not been disappointed . The hotel is situated on a very steep hill but they provide a club cart service to get about which is great. There is a rooftop pool and bar with lots of very comfortable sun loungers. There is also a private beach over the road but they do let non residents use it so you can get kids running about even though it's meant to be adults only. We stayed on A B&B basis and the breakfast had a good selection. The only downside is the location, in the middle of 2 towns about a 2-3 mile walk to either so not really anywhere to go for a stroll. All the staff are top class and extremely polite and helpful. I would defiantly return but only for a week after that you start to vegetate.

This is an amazingly beautiful hotel built into the rocks of a mountainside a few km past the village of Elounda. It is upscale and it's got a view to die for - of the sea and the sunrises. The staff is terrific and takes care of everything you ask for - from getting an electric kettle in the room, to making restaurant reservations, to renting a car. (Special shout-out to Ioanna, who doesn't stop smiling!) Since the resort is built into the mountain, it's very steep - there are a couple of cute golf-type carts that can pick you up from your room and take you to the pool/dining room area or down the slope to the beach, and there are also stairs everywhere to get up and down. But I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with difficulties walking - you might feel trapped and dependent. That being said, the way it's built is part of its charm. The rooms are furnished in white - bedding, furniture, wallpaper - which gives them a very sophisticated and tasteful feeling. The dining room is lovely and overlooks the beautiful infinity pool and the view. Breakfast is everything you could possibly want - fresh breads, omelette station, cheeses, fruits, veggies, sweet pastries, yogurts, cereals, etc. There are also two restaurants on site - one for sushi, and the Poseidon restaurant for fine dining. Beach is nice too, just across the road from the hotel, with lots of beach chairs and shade if you want.

Air conditioning in the rooms is terrific, which you need here. The a/c in the dining room at breakfast needs some help.
