Dipesh Aon 27/08/2017 15:41Situated on the Cranks Ridge Monah's Binsar Resort Give an amazing view of the Hills in the midst of the beautiful ridge.
The Rooms are comfortable and wooden flooring makes it warm and cozy. It also has the wood heaters which is very unique. The room is spacious with hot water service,
The food there is Delicious. They serve Indian, English, and Isreal menu. The restaurant has wooden furniture, thatch roof, and soft 90s music is the best place to dine in,
My 3-day stay was amazing there. Mohan the cafe owner stays in the house and personally takes good care of all the guest as he himself had started for rock bottom.
Overall it is an amazing place to spend quite a nice time.
A Superb Stay
Sammychandaon 18/07/2017 15:13Mohon's Retreat is almost dreamlike amidst verdant mountain greens. We stayed here in the first week of June with family and the jospitality is one of the best I have experienced so far. The rooms give you a colonial era look and feel and is comfort personified. The resort is beautifully and artfully decorated to give you the feel of a stay in wilderness. Every room has a mountain view and you can spot many rare mountain birds right from the balcony of your room.
The service is superb and the staffs are very friendly and always eager to help. The resort has a library with a wonderful collection and a shop where you can buy local organic stuff.
The resort also boasts of a good restaurant, Mohon's Cafe where you can satisfy your taste buds with a multicuisine menu.
Mr. Mohon is a very hospitable host and will happily answer all your queries.
The vacation at this resort has been one of the most relaxing ones I had in a long time.

12847on 12/07/2017 13:19Food heaven on earth. Chef is a genuine 5 star. Excellent understanding of baking , grilling , Cheeses , toppings everything...yummy mmm. Value for money. Excellent view. Beautiful soulful place. Lose yourself and soak yourself in the ambience. It's an aphrodisiac.
Wonderful Birthday Celebrations at this Amazing Place
AnuradhaAgamon 10/07/2017 08:18We visited Mohan Binsar Retreat to celebrate my Birthday. This was a short 01 night halt on the way back from Kausani and Almora.
This wonderful place is run and managed by a dear friend Mohan, whos passion for nature and travel is revealed in each aspect of the hotel.
The cottages are well placed with a sufficient distance from each other. We took 02 cottages, adjacent to each other and had a huge verandah exclusively to ourselves, overlooking the beautiful valley.
The hotels highlight is the cafe made at the top of the mountain which offers splended view of the Himalayas.
The birthday evening was spent enjoying tasty snacks and mouth watering cuisines at the cafe.
Mohan was very considerate of offer us a nice bon fire to keep us warm.
I would highly recommend this place and would love to visit again soon.

arvinder97on 23/06/2017 14:53Bad service. No mustard in the dirty yellow bottle, ketchup was not branded (locally made) Staff was not trained even the owner brother Mr. Pura very rude person. We ate a Pizza was OK. Crepe /pancake was good.
