We stayed at the Monoberge for 3 days in July. What a welcome it felt like visiting friends. The staff where amazing , the rooms very spaces and clean and the breakfast very delicious. Very well located it's walking distance to the beach, the old city and the attractions. A special thanks to zakhia, christine and Nassib for making us feel at home.

close to the main road

On the main road between Beirut and Byblos. Located in a strip mall with several restaurants and services.
Limited views. Part of hotel are under renovation as carpets pulled from floors in the bed rooms leaving bare cement. Good air-conditioning but challenges to get on the wifi.

lovely hotel with very attentive staff

We stayed here for a week before my son's wedding in June 2017. We couldn't have been happier with the rooms, breakfast and service from the front desk staff....
Christine was the person with whom I had the most contact and she was just amazing. Professional and warm and friendly ... couldn't have asked for better service. But all of the front desk people were wonderful and easy to deal with.
The hotel is in a wonderful location to explore Byblos.
I highly recommend this hotel.
You will love it.

Monoberge hotel is exactly what you would expect. A clean, simple and no fuss hotel in Jbeil. We have stayed her 10 nights with 4 to go, i wouldn't recommend this hotel for this long simply based on the fact that there is no pool, no laundry services on site (send away cost is astronomical) and the wifi is terrible even though the router is in your room... but for a shorter trip I would stay here again without a doubt, breakfast is nice, service is pleasant and housekeeping is great. The hotel has restaurants and shops on the same trip or go for a very short walk into old byblos town.. a true beauty of Lebanon.

The Monoberge Hotel is not going to win awards for being the prettiest of hotels ( although the rooms are well appointed) BUT, where they could give some five star properties a run for their money is with their service! Each and every member of staff is warm, friendly and professional! On the first day I was looking for a currency exchange office and one of the girls on the reception desk actually walked me around the corner so that I went to the right street! How thoughtful!
They arranged a lovely day tour with a car and driver to the mountains for us which was very memorable!
My sister and I had a very relaxing time at the Monoberge and we both felt we had extremely good value for money! I would definitely return there.
