Like to express our thanks to Deepak, Manvendra and staffs from Monsoon Forest for going the extra mile and providing us a memorable stay.

Staying in a boutique type eco-friendly resort provided us many opportunities to regularly interact with the staffs who are very attentive to our needs. Preparing meals from harvested vegs grown in the resort, freshly cooked packed breakfast ready by 5am, making the rooms twice a day... Amazing service!

During our 4-days stay, we managed to photograph >30 species of birds at mid-day (11am - 3pm) in the resort.

I believe more species can be seen during Nov - Mar.

Highly recommended for nature lovers who plan to visit Bandhavgarh!

A jungle retreat.

A great place to stay right on the edge of the jungle. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and even took me out on a walk around the site observing the local wildlife. Of the three jungles I visited whilst in India this was easily the best for sighting tigers even managing to see 11 in one day.
The food was top quality and mostly grown on site. Will definitely be paying a return visit.

It's an wonderful experience. The word is excellent for this resort. I wish I could give 6 stars. Mr. Deepak, the manager of this resort, helped us to book a safari in instant wish, just unbelievable. I booked the hut for one day (18th April 2017)as we have only one safari booked at Tala. But I've got my incentive there by seeing 4 tigers in only one evening safari on 18th. Then my we wanted to go for another safari, what was absolutely impossible except Mr Deepak's help. Stuff of Monsoon are excellent. Location of Monsoon is in the Jungle. We have heard noises of known and unknown species all the night. Rooms are Aaaawesome. I promise to visit this year again.

One of the best resort i have ever stayed in national parks.This resort share boundaries of buffer zone of Khitauli in Bandhavgad national park..The ambiance is just like what i felt inside the forest.The closest gate to this property is Tala gate which is the gate for Tala zone, the premium zone in Bandhavgad. We have to go to forest office first to gate our permits checked and then proceed to gates.The permits have to be booked in advance online.We were a group of 19 people and had booked the resort entirely.
The cottages are spacious with all the modern facilities with huge bathroom. There is a seating area in front of the cottage where u can sit & have a cup of tea.A small swimming pool is also there.
The staff is very helpful especially the property manager Mr. Deepak. The team worked hard for us to have the best experience of the place and property. They even worked very hard to make our last night there memorable with a bonfire and a private dinner.Food was nice home made types.
We did 5 safaris,3 in Tala and one each in Magdhi and Khaitualli zone.The open jeeps arranged were in good condition.They used to give us packed breakfast consisting of sandwiches, juices, fruits and water.After safari they used to greet us with wet napkins and some chilled fruit juice which is very nice as there is lot of dust and heat.
Stayed March 2017 with friends.Must visit place if in Bandhavgad. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay in Bandhavgarh

we made our plan at the last moment and needed a booking in quick succession -
finally we found monsoon forest and booked it on phone by paying certain advance amount.
we stayed there for 2 days and following feedback -

Location - Next to Taj property and last leg of road is gravel but quite easily doable thru a sedan or small car
Cottages - Awesome. quite spacious with all amenities at arm's distance.
Room Service - great room service 24 by 7
Food - On first day breakfast served was not that great but it improved substantially in coming days. we had great breakfast packed for safari on last day.
Manager - deepak did great job in providing everything necessary. He arranged pick up and drop facility for us. Arranged almost everything.
Pool - its quite small and weather was quite hot to use it.
Safari - we had great time and did sighting in all safaris. great fun

overall. its a great place to stay for Family or couple. quite relaxing and calm atmosphere
